5 Huge Coronation Street Spoilers: Theo’s Manipulation Deepens, Sally Explodes, and Carla Faces Arrest
It’s another turbulent week in Coronation Street as manipulation, betrayal, and heartbreak ripple across Weatherfield. From Theo Silverton’s toxic control over Todd to Carla Connor’s shocking arrest, emotions run high in a set of episodes packed with tension and twists.
Here are five major spoilers for the week of Monday, November 17 to Friday, November 21.
1. Theo Tightens His Grip on Todd
Theo Silverton’s (James Cartwright) quiet campaign of manipulation against Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) intensifies — and George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) could become collateral damage.
Theo starts by sabotaging Todd’s morning, deliberately washing all his work shirts and making him late for his funeral shift. When George loses patience and replaces him for the day, Todd feels guilty and confused — unaware Theo set him up.
Later, Theo turns the guilt into dependency, cooking Todd breakfast while undermining his confidence. He invites his business contact Pete to dinner, and when Todd questions it, Theo cuts him down:
“I’m the only one bringing in money here, so we do things my way.”
Theo’s gaslighting continues as he flaunts his friendship with PT James, making Todd feel isolated and unwanted. His hold on Todd is growing stronger — and much more dangerous.

2. Sally Metcalfe Loses Control at the Bistro
Sally (Sally Dynevor) is in no mood for peace when she spots Trisha Pinkerton (Anita Booth) at the Bistro dining with a teenage boy. Convinced she’s caught Trisha flirting again, Sally storms over and causes a scene — only to discover the lad is Trisha’s nephew.
Mortified, Sally tries to backtrack, but the damage is done. Later, when Tim (Joe Duttine) tries to calm her, tension boils over. Their marriage is already fragile, and Sally’s jealousy may be about to break it for good.
3. Abi Webster Doubts Carl’s Devotion
Abi Webster (Sally Carman-Duttine) struggles to balance motherhood and her rekindled romance with Carl (Jonathan Howard). When Alfie falls ill at nursery, Carl reluctantly steps in to collect him but finds it difficult to connect with the boy.
Later, Carl tries to make up for it with a candlelit night at the flat, cancelling Abi’s phone call to keep her all to himself. But his possessive streak begins to show — and Abi’s frustration reaches breaking point when Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) mocks her parenting.
Unable to take it anymore, Abi lashes out and punches Tracy — right as Kevin (Michael Le Vell) walks in. The fallout could destroy any hope of the Websters’ new beginning.
4. David Platt Reveals His Baby’s Health Scare
There’s heartbreak for the Platt family as David (Jack P. Shepherd) and Shona (Julia Goulding) struggle with devastating news about their unborn daughter.
Shona wants to keep things private, but David, overwhelmed, blurts everything out to Nick, Toyah, and Bethany during lunch at the Bistro. His emotional confession leaves everyone stunned — and Shona furious.
She storms out, feeling betrayed, and fears the family’s pity will only make things worse.
5. Carla Connor Faces Arrest and Suspects Becky
What should be a romantic anniversary for Carla (Alison King) and Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) turns into a nightmare. The couple’s day of celebrations comes crashing down when police arrive, demanding Carla accompany them to the station.
She’s accused of fraudulent activity at Underworld, and though she’s released soon after, she’s convinced her fiancée’s ex — Becky Swain (Kara Tointon) — is behind the false claim.
Carla returns to the Street furious and ready for war, but her obsession with revenge could put her relationship — and freedom — on the line.
