‘Big Brother’ Star Rachel Reilly Returns to The Bold and the Beautiful After 11 Years

After more than a decade away from the soap world, Rachel Reilly is back on The Bold and the Beautiful — and she’s bringing a new, spiritually charged energy with her.

The Big Brother icon reprises her role as Rachel, the Bikini Bar bartender, in episodes airing November 13 and 14, appearing alongside B&B veterans Scott Clifton (Liam Spencer), Don Diamont (Bill Spencer), and Heather Tom (Katie Logan).

A Long-Awaited Homecoming

Reilly’s guest role marks her 30th and 31st appearances on the CBS soap, continuing B&B’s long-standing tradition of featuring Big Brother houseguests after each season wraps. She first joined the show in 2010, returning intermittently until her last appearance in 2014 — and now, after manifesting a comeback on Big Brother, she’s living it.

“One of the biggest things I was hoping for going into Big Brother was that I would get to have another walk-on role on The Bold and the Beautiful,” Reilly told TV Insider. “I was so excited.”

For Reilly, the show holds deep sentimental value.

“I used to watch it with my nana — it’s her story,” she said. “Everyone is so kind. Over the past 15 years, I’ve gotten to know the actors and crew, so it’s such a dream come true to be back.”

Rachel’s New Spiritual Side

This time around, Reilly’s character isn’t just serving drinks — she’s serving vibes. Rachel has added “energy healer and spiritual cleanser” to her résumé, drawing on real-life inspiration from Big Brother alum Kaitlyn Herman, who practiced energy work in the house.

“I was just being very calm and really understanding the environment — picking up on the vibes, as the Gen Zs say,” Reilly joked.

Back at the Bikini Bar — and Maybe Buying It?

Reilly’s scenes reunite her with Clifton, Diamont, and Tom, and she says stepping back into the B&B world felt effortless.

“It feels like home, so I don’t really get nervous anymore,” she said. “The storylines are always changing, but you still feel the original Forrester and Spencer energy.”

And if Rachel has her way, she may not stay a bartender forever.

“I told them I think a manager role at the Bikini Bar should open up because I need a promotion!” Reilly laughed. “Or maybe I’ll buy the bar — I’ve been saving up my tips!”

Family Support — and a Little Jealousy

Reilly’s husband, Big Brother and B&B alum Brendon Villegas, is cheering her on — with a hint of envy.

“He’s very jealous,” she admitted. “He’s played a bartender at the Bikini Bar too, and last time we were on together, we announced our engagement, which was really cute.”

From Reality TV to Scripted Stardom

While Big Brother made her a household name, Reilly says she’s increasingly drawn to acting.

“I love the soaps. They feel very unscripted — the stories are so over the top. You get to be a larger-than-life personality,” she said. “But the older I get, the more I’m leaning toward scripted. The competition shows are a lot of work — they’re not for the faint of heart.”

Still, she isn’t done with reality TV just yet.

“If Big Brother did an all-winners or legends season, I’d love to do it — maybe a little shorter than 90 days since I’m a mom of two,” she said. “And I’d love to test myself on Survivor someday.”

A Career Built on Passion and Persistence

Reflecting on her journey, Reilly remains grateful for how far Big Brother has taken her.

Big Brother literally changed my life,” she said. “I would have never imagined in 2010 that I’d still be doing this — coming back to B&B, filming movies, and growing in both scripted and reality TV. It’s been such an incredible adventure, and I think it’s just getting started.”
