A Lunch Date Turns Into a Devastating Discovery

Next week on Coronation Street, Carla Connor finally calls time on her relationship with Lisa Swain after walking into a scene that looks very much like betrayal. The couple’s romance has faced trouble ever since Lisa’s estranged wife Becky returned from the dead. But this time, Carla reaches her limit.

Carla heads home after Lisa fails to show up for their planned lunch. She walks through the door and sees Becky, fresh out of the shower and wearing Lisa’s bathrobe. The sight rips through Carla, and she ends the engagement on the spot. She refuses to listen to excuses or explanations.

Becky’s Manipulation Reaches a New Level

However, things are not as straightforward as they appear. Becky’s presence at No. 6 is not the romantic betrayal Carla assumes. Earlier that day, Becky discovered that Lisa planned to meet Carla for a romantic date. Determined to wreck the reunion, she got drunk in the street and forced Lisa to take her home.

Once inside, Becky spiraled into self-pity about the life she lost. Lisa tried to help and pushed her into the shower to sober her up. That is the moment Carla walked in. Becky’s scheme worked. Lisa’s attempt to be kind cost her the person she loves most.

A Dangerous Message and a New Threat

Becky’s chaos doesn’t stop there. She receives a disturbing funeral wreath with the words: “Rest in Peace – Again!” Convinced that Costello sent it, Becky takes a photo of teenage girls at the Precinct and sends it to him. He is horrified to see that one of those girls is his daughter.

Their tense phone call takes a darker turn, and neither of them knows that Kit is secretly listening. When Costello later fails to appear at work, Kit grows suspicious. He soon discovers that Costello has been attacked and suggests to Lisa that Becky might be responsible.

Is This the End for Carla and Lisa?

Carla believes Lisa has been unfaithful and refuses to reconsider. But with Becky pulling strings and manipulating every situation, the truth is far more complicated. Is this truly the end of Carla and Lisa? Or can they uncover Becky’s sabotage before it’s too late?

And with Carla out of the way, how far will Becky go to reclaim Lisa for herself?
