Ross Meets Tracy? Emmerdale’s Mike Parr Teases “Mouthwatering” Scene with Corrie Legend in Corriedale Crossover
Explosive romance, dark twists, and soap history in the making—ITV’s one-night-only event is heating up fast
The Crossover We’ve All Been Waiting For
Get ready, soap fans: Corriedale is coming—and with it, the most unexpected pairings in UK soap history. Set to air in January 2026, the highly anticipated Emmerdale and Coronation Street crossover will bring two worlds crashing together in a one-hour special packed with tension, flirtation, and drama.
ITV has confirmed the crossover will feature one scene voted for by fans, and now we know which four Emmerdale–Corrie duos are in the running.
Ross and Tracy—The Scene That Has Fans Buzzing
One of the most surprising matchups? Emmerdale’s Ross Barton (Michael Parr) and Corrie’s iconic Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford). The pairing was revealed last week during This Morning, where soap expert Sharon Marshall unveiled the crossover contenders.
Although Mike Parr couldn’t attend the live segment, he wasted no time joining the excitement online.
“All I can say is the scene between Ross and Tracy is mouthwatering!” he teased on Instagram, immediately sending fans into a frenzy.
Both characters are single, bold, and chaotic in all the best ways—so could this be the beginning of a shock romance?
Four Scenes, One Vote—Who Will Win?
Alongside Ross and Tracy, three other scenes are also in the mix:
-
Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) with Carla Connor (Alison King)
-
Sam Dingle (James Hooton) with Kirk Sutherland (Andy Whyment)
-
Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) with Roy Cropper (David Neilson)
Each pair has already filmed their scenes, but only one will make the final cut for Corriedale. ITV will soon launch a viewer vote, giving fans the power to decide who crosses over into soap history.
And while Corriedale is a one-off for now, the buzz around the crossover has many already asking: could this become an annual event?
Secrets, Surprises, and Spectacle
While plot details are being kept tightly under wraps, ITV’s Executive Producer Iain MacLeod promises a spectacle.
“There is a massive buzz across both the Leeds and Manchester sets,” he said.
“The scenes we’ve captured are spectacular. It’s full of game-changing moments and electric character interactions.”
Already confirmed for the crossover are Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) and DS Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers), whose mysterious encounter on a dark January night is said to anchor the episode.
