A decade on, audiences will discover what fate has dealt the pair since they bid farewell to Summer Bay.
Viewers will remember Brax as the magnetic head of the River Boys, whose arrival brought both peril and unwavering family devotion to the coastal town, reports the Mirror.
He rode off towards the horizon with the love of his life Ricky and their young son Casey (named in honour of Brax’s late younger sibling), having staged his own demise to evade imprisonment.
The official announcement declared: “In partnership with Tourism Western Australia, a landmark Home and Away event will reveal where life has taken Brax and Ricky since 2016, delivering high-stakes drama and emotional payoffs set against a stunning backdrop of WA’s rugged outback.”
Stephen commented: “I’ll always be grateful to Home and Away for being the launchpad to my career, and I’ve got a sincere appreciation for the fans who’ve followed my work since.
“When the producers asked if I’d revisit Brax, it felt like a fun opportunity – and one I think the audience will really enjoy.
“Filming in spectacular outback Western Australia is the icing on the cake, and we can’t wait to welcome one lucky UK fan and their guest onto set with us.”

Bonnie added: “Bringing Ricky back wasn’t something I’d ever expected, so I’m beyond thrilled to reunite with Steve and old friends at Home and Away.
“Exploring where Ricky and Brax are now, 10 years on, will make for a very special and compelling storyline – and I can’t wait for our WA filming adventure.”
Production kicks off in October, with shooting scheduled across multiple Western Australian locations.
The special episodes are set to broadcast in 2026 on Channel 5.
Viewers are absolutely beside themselves with joy over the announcement, with one fan gushing: “Omg Brax and Ricky coming back, I’m so happy.”
“OMG SO EXCITED! I love Brax and Ricky,” another declared.
A third enthusiast exclaimed: “WHAT? Home and Away is BACK, this is what we have wanted for so long, BRAX to return. Yes it’s next year but it’s something to look forward to. I am SO SO SO EXCITED, OH BRAX HOW WE HAVE MISSED YOU.”
