Coronation Street: Lisa Takes Drastic Action as Costello Reels
Lisa Demands Answers from DI Costello
Next week on Coronation Street, Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) goes to extreme lengths to uncover the truth from DI Costello (Daon Bruni). Viewers will see Lisa corner the detective in his office, frustrated by the recent revelation about her supposedly deceased wife, Becky Swain (Amy Cudden).
Lisa and daughter Betsy (Sydney Martin) were led to believe Becky had died in a car accident nearly four years ago. In reality, Becky was placed in witness protection after an undercover operation went wrong and has been living in Spain ever since. Shocked and angered, Lisa is determined to get answers—especially after discovering her boss was involved in the cover-up.
Locking Down the Truth
In a dramatic twist, Lisa locks herself and Costello in his office, giving him an ultimatum. She highlights how traumatic it was to tell Betsy that her mother had died, only to discover it was a lie. Lisa demands every detail of Becky’s witness protection plan and warns that she will go to the press if she isn’t satisfied with his answers.
Meanwhile, Costello cautions Becky to stay low or risk ending up in prison, hinting that there may be more to the story than either is revealing.
Becky Seeks Reconnection with Betsy
Lisa’s battle to protect Betsy from further heartbreak leads to tension with Carla Connor (Alison King). Carla attempts to convince Lisa to let Becky see her daughter, but when Lisa refuses, Carla reluctantly has to send Becky away.
The stage is set for a tense showdown as Lisa fights to protect her family while unraveling the truth behind Becky’s disappearance—and Costello’s role in it.
