Coronation Street fans see Megan Walsh’s sinister secret put under the spotlight next week, after a mysterious face from her past rocks up on the cobbles. When Will Driscoll meets another young athlete called Lee and invites him back to The Rovers, he’s unaware that this lad also shares a close connection with Megan.

Does this mean that Megan’s sordid pattern of behaviour is about to be exposed?

“Will believes Megan’s breaking the law because she loves him,” our Corrie source reveals. “She’s groomed him to think their love is worth her taking this huge risk. But now it seems he’s not the only one under her spell…”

Lee’s arrival comes just as Will worries that Megan is losing interest in him. When he rumbles her plans to disappear away for a while, he quizzes her on whether she’s unwell, and the pair are almost caught out together at the hospital.

But Will is also consumed by jealousy, as Megan and Daniel Osbourne grow closer. Although Megan promises Will that she’ll cool things off, oblivious Daniel confesses that he has strong feelings for her and encourages her to report Will’s “harassment” to the school’s head…

Soon, Megan has bigger worries when runner Lee arrives in the Rovers after making a secret phone call to her. Alarmed to see the boy, she corners him in the ginnel.

But what is her connection to the teenager? Is he another of her victims?

Lee’s imminent arrival was set up in Monday’s episode (12 January), which sparked speculation about another victim. When Megan prepared for a cosy night in with Daniel, she was visibly rattled to receive a phone call from an unknown number.

“I thought I told you not to call me again,” Megan vented to the caller. “Of course I meant it. Please, will you just let it go?”

When the caller protested further, she replied: “No, that wouldn’t be a good idea for either of us – you just leave me alone, okay?”

Corrie bosses have previously spoken about big plans for Megan’s story in the weeks ahead – including her shocking manipulation of Sam Blakeman when he gets too close to the truth.
