It comes as fans of the ITV soap struggle to watch his abusive relationship continue with Todd Grimshaw

Coronation Street fans have spotted what they think could bring Theo Silverton down once and for all as they struggle to watch his abusive relationship continue with Todd Grimshaw.

Todd appeared ready to leave Theo once and for all after Billy Mayhew, who had concerns, discovered the true extent of what his former boyfriend was going through during Debbie Webster and Ronnie Bailey’s recent wedding.

In Billy’s hotel room where Todd showed him the footage given to him by Theo from the secret cameras in his home, which recently formed part of a special episode of Corrie told through camera footage, including CCTV and police bodycam, following a domestic incident inside their flat.

Todd couldn’t watch, even when Billy pointed out it had been edited and wasn’t showing the whole story. Once Todd had left, Billy found the original files and discovered what Todd had really been subject to. He once again confronted Todd and vowed to help him but as they prepared to head back to Weatherfield in the minibus, Theo arrived, making for an uncomfortable journey.

And as fans later saw, the minibus was one of the vehicles caught up in a horror multi-vehicle pile-up which was at the centre of the dramatic crossover between Corrie and fellow ITV soap Emmerdale, dubbed Corriedale.

While most of the passengers managed to escape, but Billy was trapped by his seatbelt. However, he still tried to get out. But when the evil Theo Silverton returned to see who was still trapped inside the minibus, he appeared to clip Billy back into his seat before leaving him to burn alive.

It has left Todd grieving his former partner, while also trying to support Summer Spellman after Billy became her guardian several years ago, following the death of her adoptive father, Drew Spellman. And Corrie fans are hoping that from beyond the grave, Billy could have a role in Theo’s demise.

Writing on Reddit, MTLGirly said: “With every fibre of my body, I hope Billy has left a clue, either for Summer or George, alerting someone to the abuse Theo has been inflicting on Todd. Even better, I hope he stored the unedited videos on the Cloud and left them a link. This story HAS to end.”

cheshirechris71 questioned: “What happened to Billy’s phone? Was it in his pocket or dropped in the bus? If he still had it he could have sent a message saying Theo deliberately left him there to die.” pr0phecy-girl predicted: “Todd left him on his own the recordings. I reckon he forwarded them to himself and summer will find them when she goes through his stuff!.”

glorybox89 suggested: “Summer moving in with todd and theo could bring him down, guilt and he confesses to todd in rage that he stopped billy shut him up.” Meanwhile, PrestigiousGanache77 added: “I feel like Theo will eventually feel guilty for what he did and hand himself in.”
