‘Yellowstone’ spinoff moves closer to 2026 release as production continues

The series, which stars Kelly Reilly as Beth and Cole Hauser as Rip, began production in August and has now reached the six-month mark. According to Collider, crews are currently filming an upscale party sequence in Ferris, Texas.

Based on the current production timeline, the show could debut in summer or fall 2026. The spinoff will pick up the story of Beth and Rip after the events of the original series concluded.

The release would come several months after “Marshals,” another “Yellowstone” spinoff starring Luke Grimes as Kayce, which is set to premiere March 1, 2026, on CBS.

Creator Taylor Sheridan is expanding the “Yellowstone” universe with additional projects. A third prequel series titled “1944” is in development, and “The Madison” has reportedly completed filming on two seasons.
