One Chicago Stars Tease Explosive New Seasons of Chicago Med, Fire and P.D.

The countdown is nearly over: in just one week, NBC’s One Chicago universe returns with brand-new seasons of Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago P.D. And according to the stars themselves, fans should prepare for bigger emergencies, fresh faces, and sizzling romances.

Chicago Med: Life and Death Decisions

The ER at Gaffney Chicago Medical Center is busier than ever. In a sneak peek, Sarah Ramos’s Dr. Lennox faces a dire moment with a patient suffering severe burns from a triple trauma house fire. When a colleague tells her, “She’s gone, Dr. Lennox,” the chief refuses to give up: “Not until I say she is!”

Meanwhile, personal drama heats up. After Dr. Hannah Asher (Jessy Schram) revealed she was pregnant last season, fans are waiting to learn if the father is her ex, Dr. Mitch Ripley (Luke Mitchell), or her colleague Dr. Dean Archer (Steven Weber). And while Maggie Lockwood (Marlyne Barrett) steps back, fan-favorite Dr. Will Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss) makes his long-awaited return.

Chicago Med, Fire and P.D. Finales: What to Expect | Us Weekly

Chicago Fire: New Faces, New Sparks

Firehouse 51 isn’t slowing down after last season’s emotional finale. Brandon Larracuente (13 Reasons Why) joins the cast as firefighter Sal Vasquez, quickly proving himself during high-stakes rescues — including a flaming truck disaster.

Taylor Kinney, who plays Kelly Severide, teased the shift: “We have some new players, which always creates a ruckus.”

But it’s not all smoke and flames. The teaser shows Severide locking lips in a passionate moment, suggesting romance is still burning strong — while Stella Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo) navigates her own challenges in and out of the firehouse.

Chicago P.D.: A New Detective Joins the Hunt

The Intelligence Unit welcomes Eva Imani, played by Arienne Mandi (The Night). But the squad doesn’t let newcomers off easy — the veterans immediately start digging into her past as she tackles her first cases with Voight’s team.

The preview also hints at steamy bedroom scenes, proving the show’s mix of gritty crime and complicated personal lives is far from cooling down.

Romance, Returns, and High Drama

While fans can count on heart-pounding emergencies and shocking cases across all three shows, love is also in the air. From the mystery of Hannah’s baby on Med, to Severide’s fiery romance on Fire, to new entanglements on P.D., the One Chicago universe is blending action with passion like never before.
