Emmerdale’s Danny Miller Teams Up with Corrie Star Brooke Vincent and Capital’s Wingman for New Parenting Podcast
From Soap Drama to Parenting Realities
Emmerdale favourite Danny Miller, best known as Aaron Dingle, is swapping dramatic storylines for a dose of real-life honesty. The actor has joined forces with Coronation Street star Brooke Vincent and Capital Radio’s Wingman to launch a brand-new parenting podcast.
Danny first stepped into the Dales in 2008 and has been at the heart of many emotional storylines. Most recently, Aaron struggled to adjust after discovering his new husband John Sugden’s crimes—including the shocking murder of Nate Robinson. But away from the soap, life looks very different for the actor. Danny and his wife Steph welcomed their third child this year, inspiring him to share his parenting journey in a new way.
You Don’t Know You’re Born
The podcast, titled You Don’t Know You’re Born, is set to launch on Thursday, October 2. Each week, Danny, Brooke, and Wingman will explore the highs and lows of raising children in today’s world.
The show promises a candid and comedic take on parenthood, mixing nostalgia with the challenges of raising kids in the digital age. From tales of playing outside until the streetlights came on to navigating toddlers who expect snacks on demand and voice-activated speakers, the trio will deliver unfiltered stories parents everywhere can relate to.
“It’s not parenting advice though—don’t take advice from us!” Wingman joked in the trailer. Danny added: “Absolutely not, because this is more like therapy, but with gags!”
Why Fans Should Listen
Described as a “no-filter space” for three long-time friends to rant, reminisce, and laugh about parenting, You Don’t Know You’re Born is set to strike a chord with mums and dads juggling the chaos of modern family life. With Danny’s soap legacy, Brooke’s Corrie charm, and Wingman’s quick wit, the podcast is tipped to become a must-listen for parents everywhere.
