Belle Finds Love After Trauma

Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) is finally moving forward after her horrific ordeal with abusive husband Tom King (James Chase). Over the course of 2023 and 2024, Tom controlled, manipulated, and tormented Belle — isolating her from family, spying on her with cameras, and even faking her dog Piper’s death in a twisted attempt to control her.

With Tom now behind bars and her divorce finalised earlier this year, Belle tentatively dipped back into the dating world. What started as an awkward encounter on a dating app — courtesy of Nicola King’s meddling — has blossomed into something far more serious with Kammy Hadiq (Shebz Miah).

Kammy Wins Belle’s Trust

At first, Belle rejected Kammy’s advances, insisting she wasn’t ready. But after spending time as friends, she realised she did like him. Even Cain Dingle, usually quick to scare off Belle’s potential partners, gave Kammy a silent nod of approval.

Their budding romance hit a bump when Gabby Thomas claimed Kammy had attacked Vinny Dingle. Traumatised by her past, Belle believed it instantly and cut Kammy off, convinced she was repeating the same mistake she made with Tom. However, Sarah Sugden later reassured her that Kammy wasn’t violent, and Sam Dingle encouraged her to reconsider. Belle listened, and soon she and Kammy found their way back to each other.

Moving to the Next Level

In upcoming episodes, Belle and Kammy decide to take the next step in their relationship — signalling that Belle is finally ready to trust again. For viewers, it’s a heartwarming development, especially given everything Belle has endured. Kammy has shown loyalty and patience, particularly in supporting Vinny, proving he may just be the man Belle deserves.
