Harry’s Journey So Far

Since his arrival in EastEnders, Elijah Holloway has made a big impression as Harry Mitchell. Reflecting on his journey at the Inside Soap Awards, the actor described his time on the Square as “an incredible journey,” admitting he feels “blessed” to have tackled so many storylines already.

But while Harry has tried to carve out a fresh path for himself, his future isn’t without obstacles. One of the biggest sources of conflict? His close bond with Kojo, which has been tested by Kojo’s dangerous involvement with Ravi and Okie.

Harry and Kojo’s Tested Friendship

Fans are still reeling from Kojo’s sudden collapse at The Arches, and many feared it would mark the end of his friendship with Harry. But Elijah confirmed that isn’t the case:

“Harry and Kojo are going to continue to be friends. Their relationship is going to be tried and tested as it already is being tried and tested.”

Elijah also praised his co-star Dayo Koleosho (Kojo), calling their on-screen partnership one of the most rewarding parts of his EastEnders journey: “They bring out the best in each other, and long may it continue.”

With Kojo’s secrets pulling him into deeper danger, loyalty and survival are set to clash as their friendship faces even more strain.

Romance and Fireworks for Harry

Away from the chaos of Kojo’s world, Harry’s budding romance with Gina Knight has offered lighter moments. But Elijah warned fans not to get too comfortable:

“It’s EastEnders! The storyline we’re entering into at the moment is going to keep ramping up. There might be turns and twists. I think you can just expect a lot of fireworks.”

With Ravi’s shadow still looming and Harry caught in the crossfire, Gina’s loyalty could be pushed to breaking point.

Shockwaves for the Panesars

Meanwhile, Juhaim Rasul Choudhury, who plays Nugget, revealed that the Panesar family will be thrown into fresh turmoil.

“There’s a lot going on with Ravi right now with Okie and Harry Mitchell and affecting Kojo. What happens sends a lot of shockwaves in the Panesar family.”

For now, the Panesars are standing united, but Juhaim teased that fractures are coming: “They’ll be rocked and dazed. It’s exciting.”

What’s Next in Walford?

Between Kojo’s collapse, Harry’s loyalty being tested, and Ravi’s grip on the Panesars, Walford is heading for fireworks in every corner. Friendships, romances, and family ties are all on the line — and if the actors’ teasers are anything to go by, the fallout will be explosive.
