Get ready for another action-packed year in the One Chicago universe. NBC’s powerhouse trio — Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D., and Chicago Med — are officially back with new episodes, promising emotional twists, shocking exits, and the kind of high-stakes drama that keeps viewers glued to Wednesday nights.

Each series is bringing big changes to the Windy City:

  • Chicago Fire (Season 14): Showrunner Andrea Newman teased that the new season will be a game-changer. “We’re going to have a lot of turnover and a lot of craziness going on in the CFD,” she told TV Line. “There will be hellos, and there will be goodbyes. That’s for sure.” Expect leadership shakeups, surprise returns, and the fallout from last season’s dramatic arrest.

  • Chicago Med (Season 11): After last season’s surprise pregnancy, the hospital’s doctors face new personal and professional challenges — with one team member confronting a life-changing diagnosis.

One Chicago Podcast Launches

NBC has also launched the official One Chicago Podcast, hosted by Brian Luce, a former Chicago police officer turned Chicago P.D. producer. The weekly show, which debuted September 18, features “candid, in-depth conversations with the cast and crew” and drops every Thursday.

Episode Counts and Cast Changes

According to Deadline, each series will feature 21 episodes this season — slightly fewer than usual.

The biggest shock comes from the firehouse: Daniel Kyri, Jake Lockett, and Michael Bradway have exited Chicago Fire ahead of Season 14. Kyri bid farewell to fans on Instagram, writing, “I’ll miss this character, but it’s time to move on. Thank you to the cast, crew, & the awesome fans.”

New episodes of the One Chicago shows air every Wednesday night on NBC in the following order:

  • 🩺 Chicago Med — 8 p.m. ET
