1. Joel Marshall goes into hiding after Vicki Fowler’s attack

After a violent confrontation leaves Vicki in hospital, Joel disappears from sight. Ross Marshall, unaware of what his brother has done, apologises for their earlier argument. When rumours spread, panic takes hold.
Tommy Moon helps Joel hide in the Slaters’ garage but Zoe quickly realises something is wrong. At the hospital, Ross is relieved that Vicki will recover but shock turns to anger when he hears Joel may be responsible.

2. Harry Mitchell trapped by Ravi Gulati and Tobias “Okie” Okyere

Harry’s sudden silence leaves Teddy Mitchell anxious. Ravi and Okie are in control and force Harry to make a phone call to convince his father that everything is fine.
In truth, Harry is being held prisoner until he reveals where a hidden camera is connected. Once he talks, Okie takes Harry’s laptop and begins to manipulate the situation.
When Okie flirts with Gina Knight, Harry’s desperation turns to anger. Okie provokes him further, boasting that he plans to date Gina. Rival dealers close in and Ravi tells Okie to let Harry go. Okie refuses.
Harry later turns to drugs in despair. Can anyone reach him before he loses hope completely?

3. Oscar Branning wins a date with Jasmine

Oscar’s efforts to impress Jasmine finally pay off. She agrees to go out with him and Oscar is over the moon. Their young romance begins to blossom but life in Walford rarely stays peaceful for long.

4. Nigel Bates plans a touching surprise for Julie

Nigel wants to give Julie Bates something to smile about and decides to surprise her with a dream holiday to India. After upsetting Lily Slater during a tutoring session, Nigel is eager to make amends.
Encouraged by Oscar, he sells his car to pay for the trip. Despite a few mix ups, Julie is delighted when Nigel reveals his plans. It looks like love is firmly back on the cards for the couple.

5. Johnny Carter’s mistake costs him his job

Elaine Knight’s plans to turn Number Five into a boutique hotel inspire Johnny to start his own business. But a drunken slip sends his business proposal to every client and his boss at once.
