Emmerdale: Aaron Catches Robert and Kev Kissing in Explosive New Twist
Robert’s Web of Lies Unravels
Next week’s Emmerdale delivers pure chaos as Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley)’s tangled love life finally explodes. For weeks, Robert has been living dangerously, juggling his secret husband Kev Townsend (Chris Coghill)—who’s recently returned from prison—with rekindled ex Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller).
Neither man knows the other exists, but that’s about to change in the most humiliating and dangerous way possible.
When Robert promised Aaron that they’d give things another shot, he genuinely meant it. The pair agreed to keep their reunion under wraps, but Aaron, ever the romantic, lets it slip in front of the entire Woolpack. The news spreads fast—and lands right in Kev’s path.
Kev Returns with Dangerous Intentions
Kev, who married Robert while in prison, has returned to the village under the guise of rekindling their relationship. He’s manipulative, volatile, and, as actor Chris Coghill warns, “an incredibly dangerous person.”
To make matters worse, Kev claims to be terminally ill and insists Robert stay by his side until the end. But his motives are far from pure. Robert suspects Kev’s fortune could be his ticket to freedom, while Kev is determined to keep his husband under control—at any cost.
“Kev’s unpredictable,” said Ryan Hawley. “He’s got layers, but he’s unhinged. You never quite know what he’ll do next.”
The Kiss That Changes Everything
The tension reaches breaking point when Robert’s two worlds collide at the café, and Kev and Aaron meet face to face. Robert scrambles to downplay his connection to Kev, but Aaron’s instincts tell him something’s not right.
Later, after another heated argument, Kev makes a bold and dangerous move. Determined to stake his claim, he gifts Robert an expensive watch in full view of the pub—and then kisses him.
Unfortunately for Robert, Aaron walks in at that exact moment. The look on Aaron’s face says it all—betrayal, disbelief, and heartbreak. But if he confronts Kev, he could be in for far more than a shouting match.
Trouble Ahead in the Dales
As the fallout spreads, Robert is left cornered by two men who love him—and both of them are capable of losing control. Aaron’s temper is legendary, but Kev’s instability could make him truly dangerous.
Ryan Hawley teased, “There’s a lot more to Kev than meets the eye. He’s unpredictable, but not entirely without sympathy. You’ll see his layers unfold—but not everyone will make it out of this story unscathed.”
