Yellowstone Spin-off Officially Titled The Dutton Ranch as Annette Bening Joins Cast

The world of Yellowstone is expanding once again — and this time, it’s all about Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler. Paramount and Taylor Sheridan have confirmed that the long-awaited spin-off centered on the fan-favorite couple finally has a title: The Dutton Ranch.

Beth and Rip’s New Chapter

Actors Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser will reprise their iconic roles as Beth and Rip in the new series, which continues their story in the present-day timeline established by Yellowstone.

According to Deadline, the show will explore the couple’s life as they fight to protect and preserve their sprawling 7,000-acre Montana ranch, described as “a testament to the peace they sought, fought for, and nearly died for.”

The series will follow Beth and Rip as they navigate new challenges, face fierce competition, and try to ensure that Carter (Finn Little) grows into the man they’ve raised him to be.Rip and Beth's Complex Love Story in Yellowstone: Toxic, Honest & Unforgettable

Annette Bening Joins the Cast

In a major casting win, Annette Bening has been announced as the newest addition to the Yellowstone universe. The Oscar-nominated actress will play Beulah Jackson, the “powerful, cunning, and charming” head of a major Texas ranch — and likely a formidable new rival for Beth Dutton.

Bening’s acclaimed career spans decades, with standout performances in American Beauty, 20th Century Women, and The Kids Are All Right. She most recently earned an Academy Award nomination for her role in Nyad and will soon appear alongside Anya Taylor-Joy in the upcoming Apple TV+ drama Lucky.

Behind the Scenes and What to Expect

The Dutton Ranch hails from Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan and will be produced by Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios. Sheridan is joined by a powerhouse team of executive producers including David C. Glasser, John Linson, Art Linson, Kelly Reilly, and Cole Hauser themselves.

No premiere date has been set, but production is reportedly moving forward, with fans expecting more information in the coming months.

As Yellowstone nears the end of its original run, The Dutton Ranch is set to carry on the legacy — promising more grit, romance, and unrelenting Western power struggles that define the Dutton family name.
