Yellowstone’s Beth and Rip Spin-Off Officially Titled The Dutton Ranch
The Yellowstone universe continues to expand, and this time the spotlight shifts to one of television’s most fiery and beloved couples. Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser are officially returning as Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler in a brand-new spin-off series now titled The Dutton Ranch.
The Duttons Begin a New Chapter
According to Deadline, The Dutton Ranch will follow Beth and Rip as they fight to preserve the hard-won peace they’ve carved out on their sprawling 7,000-acre property. After years of chaos, betrayal, and bloodshed in Yellowstone, this new series explores what it means for the couple to finally stand on their own — and what they’ll sacrifice to keep it that way.
The official description teases, “The Dutton Ranch, home to Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler, is a testament to the peace they sought, fought for, and nearly died for, as they’ve come to cherish their land. With tough times and stiff competition, Beth and Rip do what they must to survive, all while ensuring Carter becomes the man he’s meant to be.”
That “Carter” refers to Finn Little’s fan-favorite character, who is set to return as the couple’s fiercely loyal adopted son.
Annette Bening Joins the Cast
In a major casting coup, Academy Award nominee Annette Bening has joined the series as Beulah Jackson, a “powerful, cunning, and charming” Texas ranch owner who is expected to serve as both an ally and adversary to Beth and Rip.
Bening’s illustrious career includes acclaimed performances in American Beauty, The Grifters, 20th Century Women, and Captain Marvel. Her addition brings gravitas to a series already packed with talent and intensity.
Behind the Scenes: Sheridan’s Team Returns
The Dutton Ranch reunites many of the creative forces that built the Yellowstone legacy. Executive producers include Taylor Sheridan, David C. Glasser, John Linson, Art Linson, Kelly Reilly, Cole Hauser, and Keith Cox, among others, under Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios.
The series remains set in the Yellowstone’s present-day timeline, ensuring narrative continuity with the franchise while offering a more intimate look at Beth and Rip’s life beyond the ranch wars.
What Comes Next
A premiere date has yet to be announced, but production details are expected soon. With Sheridan’s trademark blend of rugged emotion, sweeping cinematography, and moral conflict, The Dutton Ranch promises to deliver the same fierce passion that made Yellowstone a global phenomenon.
Fans can expect family drama, new rivalries, and the return of Beth and Rip’s explosive chemistry — this time set against a fresh frontier where survival means everything.
