Emmerdale’s Tracy Robinson Star Stuns Fans as She Shares Snap with Famous Sister
Emmerdale star Amy Walsh has left fans speechless after revealing her close connection to another famous face — her sister, Kimberley Walsh, best known as a member of the iconic pop group Girls Aloud.
Family Fame Revealed
Amy, 38, who has played Tracy Robinson on Emmerdale since 2014, surprised followers when she posted a glamorous photo with her sister Kimberley, 43, at the Pride of Britain Awards last month.
Fans quickly flooded the comments after realising the two talented women were related. Many admitted they had “no idea” the Emmerdale actress and the Girls Aloud singer were sisters.
Posting on Instagram, Amy shared a radiant photo of the pair posing on the red carpet at London’s Grosvenor House on October 20, writing:
“It’s been one hell of a week that started off on Monday at the most amazing @prideofbritain awards with my big sister and our amazing @encantatalentmgmt team! So grateful to get the opportunity to celebrate the incredible winners. What a night!”
She added with a laugh:
“Westlife… omg, my 16-year-old self nearly combusted! Gorgeous to bump into some friends too. Thanks so much for having me @prideofbritain — it was an honour.”

Fans React: “I Had No Idea You Were Sisters!”
The sweet post sparked an outpouring of comments from surprised fans.
One follower wrote: “Omg, didn’t know you and Kimberley are sisters! You can definitely see the resemblance — you could pass as twins!”
Another admitted, “I was today years old when I realised you and Kimberley are sisters!” while a third simply gushed, “Wow, stunning sisters!”
Kimberley, who rose to fame on ITV’s Popstars: The Rivals in 2002 before achieving massive success with Girls Aloud, has since built a career as a singer, presenter, and performer — making the Walsh family a true entertainment powerhouse.
Acting Runs in the Family
It turns out Amy and Kimberley aren’t the only famous Walsh sisters. Their elder sibling Sally Walsh also appeared in Emmerdale, playing Lyn Hutchinson from 1997 to 2000.
Lyn was known for her fiery romances with Roy Glover (Nicky Evans) and Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock), and her dramatic exit from the village after an affair with Scott Windsor (Ben Freeman).
Since leaving the soap, Sally has built an impressive acting career, with appearances in Cold Feet, The Bill, Heartbeat, Doctors, and EastEnders.
As for Amy, she continues to shine on Emmerdale as Tracy Robinson, a character who has faced heartbreak, betrayal, and new beginnings in equal measure. With her growing family and her sisters’ support, Amy’s off-screen life looks every bit as full of love and success as her on-screen storylines.
