EastEnders Shock: Zoe Slater Faces Three Major Setbacks as Stalker Plot Takes a Dark Turn
EastEnders fans are in for another tense and unsettling episode tonight as Zoe Slater’s stalker nightmare deepens. In Monday’s episode (available now on BBC iPlayer), Zoe suffers three devastating setbacks that leave her more frightened and isolated than ever.
After the Halloween Horror Comes Heartbreak
Following last week’s chilling Halloween episode — where Zoe was locked inside The Queen Vic’s barrel store and a family photo was found smashed and smeared with blood — Kat Slater made a heartfelt vow to protect her daughter.
Determined not to repeat her mother’s mistakes, Kat resolved to stand by Zoe no matter what. But Alfie remained sceptical, convinced there’s no real threat and that Zoe’s fears are misplaced. The police, after all, found nothing suspicious at the scene.
Still, Zoe’s torment was far from over.
The First Blow: The Case Closed
Zoe’s first setback came when she met her private investigator, Blake, at the café. She was devastated to learn that Sharon Watts had decided to withdraw funding for the search into Zoe’s missing son — after discovering that Dennis Rickman isn’t really the father.
Blake revealed she’d made a breakthrough in the case — “a key piece of the jigsaw” — but demanded £3,000 to share the information. Zoe, already stretched thin emotionally and financially, was left with no way to get the money.
The Second Blow: A Missing Kitten
Just when things couldn’t get worse, Zoe received more heartbreaking news. Freddie told her that her beloved kitten, Mini Mo, had gone missing.
Fearing that her stalker had taken the kitten as a warning, Zoe’s panic spiralled. She searched the Square frantically, convinced she was being watched.
That’s when Anthony spotted her in distress. Wanting to make amends after Zoe previously accused him of stalking her, he offered to help — and urged her to stop living in fear.
“You’ve got to focus on Kat,” Anthony told her gently. “And finding your son.”
The Third Blow: The Photos
But the night ended with the most disturbing twist yet. Kat and Alfie rushed upstairs after hearing Zoe’s screams — only to find the walls covered in Slater family photos, each one with Zoe’s face scratched out.
The horrifying discovery left the couple stunned. Has Zoe’s stalker struck again? Or is there something much darker at play?
Upcoming scenes will reveal the shocking truth: Zoe defaced the pictures herself.
What’s Really Going On With Zoe Slater?
Fans are now questioning whether Zoe’s trauma is blurring reality, or if someone is manipulating her into believing she’s losing control.
“This storyline is the most gripping thing EastEnders has done in ages,” one fan posted online. “Is Zoe the victim — or is something else happening in her mind?”
With Kat torn between belief and fear, and Alfie convinced Zoe needs professional help, the Slaters are heading for another family implosion.
