Emmerdale fans may soon see a familiar face step into one of the show’s darkest storylines, as actor Michael Parr hints that Ross Barton is about to unleash his fiery temper in a shocking act of revenge.

“I think that is starting to be released in the scripts soon,” Michael teased. “We’ve always had a connection, and I’m really grateful to be part of her storyline again.”

“There’s Going to Be Hell to Pay”

Reflecting on his bond with Amelia Flanagan, who plays April, Michael was full of praise for the young star. “She was such a talented little four-year-old when she joined the show,” he said. “Now she’s basically the face of Emmerdale and winning all the awards! She’s an amazing actress and it’s been a joy to watch her grow up.”

But when asked about what might happen if Ross discovers what Ray and Celia have done to April, Michael didn’t hold back. “I imagine when Ross does find out, there’s going to be hell to pay,” he warned.

Fans know that Ross has a violent past and is no stranger to taking justice into his own hands. As Michael put it: “If Ross is provoked and you hurt the wrong people around him, the old Ross is gonna come out. He’s a good fighter, he’s not scared of anyone — he’s just not that smart!”

Michael hinted that any confrontation between Ross and the villains will be a brutal showdown. “Ray and Celia are clever, but they’re not as physically imposing,” he explained. “If they get caught in the wrong part of the farm and there’s no one around, they’re going to come off much worse. The actor also revealed he’s loving working alongside Joe Absolom and Jaye Griffiths, calling them “fantastic scene partners” and praising the intensity of their performances.
