After hard-launching their romance on 90 Day: The Last Resort, Josh Weinstein and Jen Potthast have finally given 90 Day Fiancé fans a relationship update.

Josh made his 90 Day Fiancé debut on Season 2 of 90 Day: The Single Life. At the time, he was dating franchise regular Natalie Mordovtseva. After dating for about three years, Josh and Natalie called things off for good during a group therapy session for Season 2 of The Last Resort, just a day before the recommitment ceremony. At the Tell All, Josh revealed that he was seeing someone new, who fans might recognize. Through a video call on stage, Josh revealed that he was dating Jen, the sister of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After regular Elizabeth Potthast.

At this time, Josh and Jen still appear to be dating. 90 Day Diaries revealed a new update: While Josh and Jen were casually seeing each other long-distance, he was ready to take things to the next level. He told viewers, “So I’ve decided I want to ask Jen to take it past the casual dating part and make this more of a serious relationship. And I am really nervous because I don’t know what she’s gonna say.”

When Josh visited Jen in Tampa, Florida, he told her, “I like you. I feel like you’re gorgeous. You’re beautiful. I feel like my situation is crazy with my kids and Jett, and everything he’s going through, you understand that. I definitely want to give this a try.” After Jen asked if he was looking for something more serious, he joked that they should get married. In the end, Jen told him, “I just want to take things slow, honestly. I’m trying to feel it out… What I want out of a relationship and stuff.” That being said, she was still interested in seeing him, and they are mutuals on social media today.

How did Josh and Jen meet?

According to Josh, he met Jen because he used to work with Jen and Elizabeth’s family “a long, long time ago.” Gushing about his blossoming relationship with Jen, he revealed, “I’ve actually been friends with Jen for well over 10-plus years. She was married when we first met. She’s single now. We’ve actually reconnected.”

Do Josh and Jen have kids?

Josh has a son, Jett, 19, from his previous marriage to Naked and Afraid alum Candice Mishler. He told 90 Day Diaries viewers, “When I do have time, and I am in Phoenix, I try to hang out with him as much as I humanly possibly can.” During the show, he revealed, “On February 4, 2024, I got a phone call from Jett’s mom that my son was in a very terrible car accident.” According to Josh, Jett’s friend was driving them back from a snowboarding trip. “My son’s friend hit and guardrail, which took the life of my son’s friend instantly.” With only a 5% chance of living, Jett survived the accident with internal damage, losing one leg, while breaking the other. Josh also has a nine-year-old daughter named Kinsley Mae.

Jen was previously married to a radio DJ named Orlando Davis. While she split with Orlando in 2011, the two have joint custody of their two teenage daughters, Kaelyn and Brielle.

Did Josh date Jen’s sister?

Yes, Josh did date Jen’s sister — but not Elizabeth. On 90 Day Diaries, Josh revealed that he had previously dated Becky Potthast. He explained, “Becky and I used to date way, way, way back, and it was more of a fun physical intimate relationship. It never really turned into something.” Of course, Josh decided he didn’t want to tell Jen about the relationship yet, joking that it could come up on their honeymoon instead.
