If you’ve watched Yellowstone, then chances are you are as obsessed with Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) and Rip Wheeler’s (Cole Hauser) relationship as we are. From their adorable fights to their unwavering love and support for one another, it truly is a romance for the ages. And if you are like us, you probably want to relive some of their most iconic moments, such as their wedding or Beth telling Rip she bought him a ranch without asking. This is why we have rounded up a complete timeline of their relationship broken down by episode, so you know exactly which ones to binge. Read on for more.

Season 1, Episode 1: Their reunion

In season 1 episode 1, entitled “Daybreak,” viewers see Beth and Rip for the first time since they left each other all those years ago. And while we don’t want to spoil anything about how they reunite, we will say it’s passionate.

Season 1, Episode 2: Beth and Rip’s first date

Just one episode after reuniting, Beth and Rip go on their first date, which includes drinking whiskey and watching wolves eat dead animals. And while this romantic night out might not be for everyone, it was perfect for them.

Season 2, Episode 5: A look back at their past

It’s always been clear that Beth and Rip have a past, but until Season 2, Episode 5, “Touching Your Enemy,” we never see what it is. In this installment, viewers see high school-aged Beth and Rip (played by Kylie Rogers and Kyle Red Silverstein) meet and share their first kiss, which is equal parts cute and awkward.

Season 2, Episode 7: Their first ‘I love you’

Despite their history, Beth and Rip never say “I love you” to each other until Season 2, Episode 7 “Resurrection Day.” It happens after she is brutally attacked at her office and he comes to save her by killing her attackers. Following that, Rip tightly hugs Beth and tells her, “I’m here. You’re safe. I love you,” which is very similar in our opinion.

Season 3, Episode 7: Beth and Rip get engaged

After two seasons of fights, makeups and cute moments, Beth and Rip finally get engaged. After asking for her father’s permission, Beth finds Rip on the porch and asks him to marry her as long as he “outlives me so that I never have to live another day without you.” Rip, of course, says yes, causing both of them to look happier than they have in a while.

Season 4, Episode 2: They meet Carter

Earlier in the show, viewers learn that Beth had an abortion that ended in her undergoing a hysterectomy, meaning that she can’t have kids. That all changes, though, when she and Rip meet a troubled teen named Carter (Finn Little), whom they take and mentor and parent for the rest of the show.

Season 4, Episode 10: Beth and Rip finally get married

In true Beth fashion, she surprised Rip with a wedding in Season 4, Episode 10, “Grass on the Streets and Weeds on the Rooftops.” The ceremony takes place on the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch— just because, of course—after Beth uses it as an excuse to finally get her revenge on her brother Jamie (Wes Bentley).

Season 5, Episode 7: The two go their separate ways

No, Beth and Rip don’t split up, but in Season 5, Episode 7, “The Dream Is Not Me,” he moves to Texas for a year to work at the 6666 (pronounced “four sixes”). Beth, however, stays behind to watch after Carter and get her revenge on Jamie.

Season 5, Episode 10: Beth goes to Texas

Turns out Beth couldn’t stay away from her husband for long, because just three episodes later, she reunites with Rip in Texas. During the episode, it is also revealed that that trip was the first time Rip had ever left Montana.

Season 5, Episode 14: Beth, Rip and Carter leave The Yellowstone

Following the sale of the Dutton Yellowstone Ranch, Beth buys a ranch for her, Rip and Carter 40 miles west of Dillon, Montana. They then move there, and since this episode was the finale, it is believed that the spin-off centered around Beth and Rip will focus on them setting up their life there.

The show is currently in pre-production.
