Abi (Sally Carman-Duttine) and Kevin (Michael Le Vell) first began dating in 2018 before tying the knot in 2021. Through tragedy and triumph, the pair became one of Weatherfield’s most beloved couples.
But their marriage began to unravel when Abi secretly started an affair with Kevin’s younger brother Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard). For months, the pair risked exposure, sneaking around and nearly being caught on several occasions.
Abi initially put her plans to leave Kevin on hold when he was diagnosed with cancer, vowing to support him. But after Kevin was given the all-clear, she could no longer deny the truth.
Kevin’s Hopes Crushed
In heartbreaking scenes, Kevin suggested a fresh start—patching up their relationship with small steps like getting a dog and working together in the garage.
