Fans of the ITV soap claimed ‘you just know’ it’s going to happen

Coronation Street fans think they have rumbled Theo Silverton’s next move as they claimed ‘you just know’ it’s going to happen.

Those who follow the ITV soap are continuing to keep a close eye on the character after he appeared to be involved in the recent death of Billy Mayhew, the friend and former partner of his boyfriend Todd Grimshaw.

Todd appeared ready to leave his abusive partner with the help of Billy, but as they tried to leave Debbie Webster and Ronnie Bailey’s wedding venue in Yorkshire, Theo joined making for an uncomfortable journey.

And as fans later saw, the minibus was one of the vehicles caught up in a horror multi-vehicle pile-up which was at the centre of the dramatic crossover between Corrie and fellow soap Emmerdale, dubbed Corriedale.

While most of the passengers managed to escape, Billy was trapped by his seatbelt. However, he still tried to get out. But when the evil Theo Silverton returned to see who was still trapped inside the minibus, he appeared to clip Billy back into his seat before leaving him to burn alive.

It has left Todd grieving his former partner, while also trying to support Summer Spellman after Billy became her guardian several years ago, following the death of her adoptive father, Drew Spellman.

Now, Todd and Summer are preparing for Billy’s funeral and during Thursday’s (January 15) visit to the cobbles, Summer popped round to Todd and Theo’s flat with a photo of Billy to be used at his funeral, which Todd promptly put up in the living room ready for when the time comes.

Theo was taken aback by the image of a smiling Billy and later, as Todd shared with him some of his eulogy, Theo snapped and suggested that Todd was too early in his grief to be giving the speech at Billy’s funeral. Todd quickly seemed uncomfortable and headed out for a drive, but not before telling Theo he would be reading Billy’s eulogy.
