A Dark Turn in Todd’s Story

Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) reached breaking point in a devastating Coronation Street episode, as abusive partner Theo Silverton (James Cartwright) unleashed his most manipulative behaviour yet. Todd Takes the Blame

The next morning was chaos. Todd’s alarm hadn’t gone off, his shirts were ruined, and his phone hadn’t charged. When George called for him, Christina Midgeley (Amy Robbins) was sent to find out what had happened.

Todd panicked and rushed to work wearing a stained blue shirt, unaware that Theo had engineered the entire disaster. George, furious and embarrassed, stood Todd down from the service and replaced him with Christina. The humiliation cut deep.

Later that day, tension exploded. George and Todd argued in front of the parlour, and Todd was ordered out.

Theo’s Final Blow Leaves Todd Sobbing

As if his manipulation hadn’t done enough damage, Theo then invited George back so the two men could “clear the air.” Instead, the confrontation ended with Todd quitting his job in anger.

When George left, Todd broke down. His life was falling apart, and Theo had made sure he blamed himself for every moment. Rather than comfort him, Theo turned cold again. He mocked Todd for showing emotion and walked out, leaving him crying alone in the funeral parlour.
