Coronation Street Spoilers: Carla Feels Betrayed as Lisa and Becky’s Relationship Takes a Shocking Turn
Carla’s World Starts to Crumble
It’s heartbreak ahead for Carla Connor (Alison King) when she discovers that her girlfriend Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) may not be as devoted as she seems.
Lisa’s already fragile world is thrown into chaos when her estranged wife Becky (Amy Cudden) — long presumed dead — reappears in Weatherfield after four years in hiding. Her return sends shockwaves through the family, particularly for Betsy (Sydney Martin), who believed her mother was gone forever.
Now, as dark secrets rise to the surface, Becky’s motives come under intense scrutiny — and Carla could be the one left shattered.
Costello Tightens His Grip
Before Lisa can even process Becky’s return, her past comes back to haunt her. Shady detective DI Costello is back on the scene, and he’s determined to keep Becky quiet about their history of corruption.
After Betsy is suddenly arrested, Lisa is horrified to learn that Costello has accused her daughter of vandalising a police car and assaulting an officer. When Betsy refuses to comment, Lisa knows something isn’t right — and she’s right.
Becky soon steps in, producing a flash drive of CCTV footage that proves Betsy’s innocence. Armed with this evidence, Lisa storms into the police station and confronts Costello in a fiery showdown.
But when Costello later warns Becky that he’s held up his end of their deal, he makes his intentions chillingly clear: “Now it’s your turn. You’ve got a month to disappear.”
Roy Catches a Shocking Scene
After Betsy’s release, Lisa and Becky share a brief moment of relief — and perhaps something more. But their reunion doesn’t stay private for long.
When Roy Cropper unexpectedly arrives at Lisa’s flat, he’s stunned to find Lisa and Becky snuggled up on the sofa. The tender moment leaves fans asking: has Lisa crossed the line — and will Roy tell Carla what he’s seen?
For Carla, already uneasy about Becky’s return, this could be the ultimate betrayal.
Becky’s True Colours Emerge
Behind her calm exterior, Becky is slowly revealing herself as one of Weatherfield’s most dangerous newcomers. Coronation Street producer Kate Brooks teased that fans haven’t seen anything yet.
“So, Becky is a bit of a villain,” Brooks explained. “She’s come back for one reason — she wants her family back. She wants Betsy. She wants Lisa. She wants to oust Carla from this very happy home life she’s created.”
Brooks added, “Becky’s quite a badass. She’s not the innocent or heroic figure she’s led people to believe. She’s capable of many things, and it won’t be long before the rest of Weatherfield realises it. Carla’s suspicions are justified — Becky is someone you don’t want to mess with.”
Trouble Ahead
As Betsy dreams of a new start in Spain with her mother, Lisa finds herself caught between two worlds — the stability she’s built with Carla and the chaos that Becky brings.
But with Costello watching, Roy holding a dangerous secret, and Carla’s patience wearing thin, this tangled web of lies could soon unravel in the most explosive way.
