Days of Our Lives spoilers Xander and Maggie at odds DOOL

Days of Our Lives spoilers for Monday, January 12 reveal Things get real between Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) and Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers). Meanwhile, Dimitri Von Leuschner (Peter Porte) isn’t giving up. Plus, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) is licking his wounds. Here’s what you need to know.

Family feud… again.

First, Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal a new year is not changing much. Teasers say Xander confronts Maggie. We’d be tempted to say this teaser is reversed, as we all know Maggie was in the winter promo saying she can’t even look at Xander, which we assume is coming Monday, January 12. After all, she just learned he fired Brady. She is not going to just let that go.

However, this teaser may just be accurate after all. We do know that Xander wasn’t impressed with Maggie going on about how Brady needs to be there for his daughter. As Xander pointed out, he doesn’t even get to see his at all. And we do expect this to be a part of the conversation when we get back to their scene. As it should. A lot of fans aren’t happy about Maggie so casually letting Xander be cut off entirely from his daughter, and we’re included in that. It’s not right, and Maggie should be talking sense into her daughter. But that’s not likely to happen, especially now.

Surprise!

Elsewhere, Dimitri shocks Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart). We’re guessing this is all about the kiss Dimitri planted on him when Leo came to see him at the DiMera mansion. At Javi Hernandez’s (Al Calderon) insistence, of course. Because he’s beyond insecure about Dimitri’s return and what it means.

We’re expecting Leo to push Dimitri away and make it clear he’s not looking for a reunion. After all, he was just at the Hernandez home, desperately trying to get Javi to believe he doesn’t want Dimitri anymore. We’re just hoping Javi doesn’t hear of this kiss and act like Leo is in any way at fault. Of course, having said that, there is very much a chance the writers will have there be some spark, at least. And we definitely don’t expect Dimitri to just accept Leo’s over him. He’ll fight hard to win Leo back, and be very clear about his plan to get a divorce. Not to mention, see Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) behind bars for what she’s done.

Too bad, so sad…

Finally, Brady is comforted by Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey). Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate she’s likely to be outraged by Brady’s firing. And we expect a confrontation between her and Xander over it, possibly even in this episode. But we do think that Brady needs to also own this mess. Moving on with a relative and boss’ ex isn’t exactly a smart move. And let’s be honest here. For all their talk, we really don’t see anyone else actually putting in the work to save Titan Xander is. Most people would likely already be fired by now. And we’re sure the conversation with Maggie somewhat played into this as well.
