Denji 1 said: Yellowstone Spin-Off “The Dutton Ranch” Officially Announced — Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser Return as Beth and Rip

The Yellowstone universe is expanding once again, and this time, it’s Beth and Rip’s turn to take center stage. Paramount has officially confirmed the long-rumored spin-off focusing on the fan-favorite couple, now titled “The Dutton Ranch.”

Beth and Rip’s Story Continues

According to Deadline, the new series will follow Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) and Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser) as they continue their lives on the Dutton Ranch in the present-day Yellowstone timeline.

The official description teases a story filled with loyalty, struggle, and survival:

“The Dutton Ranch, home to Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler, is a testament to the peace they sought, fought for, and nearly died for, as they’ve come to cherish their 7,000-acre land. With tough times and stiff competition, Beth and Rip do what they must to survive, all while ensuring Carter (Finn Little) becomes the man he’s supposed to be.”

Fans can expect the same blend of grit, romance, and Western drama that made Yellowstone a global hit — but with a sharper focus on the couple’s domestic life, their love for the land, and the new threats circling their family legacy.Beth & Rip Spinoff Hit With Crushing Delay! Annette Bening Joins the Cast

In a major casting announcement, Annette Bening has joined the series as Beulah Jackson, described as “a powerful, cunning, and charming head of a major ranch in Texas.”

Bening’s casting adds serious prestige to the project. The four-time Oscar nominee was most recently recognized for her acclaimed role in Nyad (2023) and has a filmography that includes American Beauty, The Kids Are All Right, 20th Century Women, and Captain Marvel.

Her character is expected to serve as a key rival — or perhaps uneasy ally — to Beth and Rip as they navigate the next chapter of their ranching empire.

Behind the Scenes of The Dutton Ranch

The spin-off comes from Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan, alongside executive producers David C. Glasser, John Linson, Art Linson, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Michael Friedman, Chad Feehan, Christina Voros, Kelly Reilly, Cole Hauser, and Keith Cox.

The show is being produced by Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios, the same teams behind Yellowstone and its successful prequels, 1883 and 1923.

While production details are still under wraps, the announcement suggests that filming will begin soon — though a premiere date has yet to be confirmed.

The Future of the Dutton Legacy

As Yellowstone prepares to wrap its flagship series, The Dutton Ranch promises to carry forward the saga’s emotional core through Beth and Rip’s fiery, complicated love story.

With Annette Bening’s new character set to challenge their peace and a grown-up Carter stepping into manhood, Sheridan’s latest chapter looks to explore not just the cost of land — but the price of legacy.
