EastEnders: George Vows to Send Kojo Away After Shocking Attack — But Will He Follow Through?
EastEnders is set for another tense week as George Knight (Colin Salmon) makes a heart-wrenching decision about Kojo Asare (Dayo Koleosho), following a violent confrontation that leaves the Knights divided and Kojo’s future hanging in the balance.
Kojo’s Nightmare Returns
Kojo has been spiraling ever since becoming an unwilling pawn in Ravi Gulati’s (Aaron Thiara) drug operation. His flat, once a safe haven, was turned into a base for Ravi and his ruthless associate Okie Okyere (Aayan Ibikunle Shoderu) — and next week, his trauma takes a terrifying turn.
Despite George and Junior (Michael Balfour) warning him to stay away, Kojo can’t resist the urge to return home. While George and Junior are distracted by a heated conversation with Gina (Francesca Henry) about missing Xavier, Kojo slips away — and walks straight into danger.
Inside his flat, he comes face-to-face with Okie, who demands to know what he told the police. The situation turns violent as Okie threatens him with a knife, forcing Kojo to text Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway) to lure him in.
When Harry arrives, chaos erupts. He tries to protect Kojo, and in the ensuing struggle, Harry stabs Okie. Moments later, Teddy Mitchell (Roland Manookian) bursts in after hearing from Kojo — but it’s too late. The damage has been done.
George Loses Control
As the fallout spreads, George’s temper reaches breaking point. Furious with Ravi for dragging Kojo into his world, George’s patience shatters when he learns just how close Kojo came to being killed.
The situation only worsens when Junior reveals he’s booked a flight back to Dubai, leaving George feeling more alone than ever in trying to protect his fractured family.
Then comes a text from Kobina, who insists that Kojo must return to Ghana — a move George begins to seriously consider as a last-ditch effort to keep his son safe.
Family Divided
When George finally tells Junior about his plan to send Kojo away, tensions explode once again. Junior accuses his father of giving up on Kojo instead of fighting for him.
Unbeknownst to them, Kojo overhears everything. Panicked, he confronts George in despair, refusing to leave Walford. “I’m not going,” he cries, terrified of losing his new life.
It’s Junior who steps in to defuse the situation, calming Kojo and promising to find another way. He pleads with George to give him time, insisting, “We can keep him safe here. He doesn’t need to run anymore.”
What Will George Decide?
With violence still lingering on their doorstep and Ravi’s empire crumbling, George must make an impossible choice — protect his son by sending him away, or risk keeping him in a world that’s already taken too much.
As EastEnders continues to weave the Knights deeper into Walford’s criminal undercurrent, fans can expect high-stakes confrontations, emotional breakdowns, and a family pushed to its limit.
Will George follow through with his vow to send Kojo away — or will love for his son win out in the end?
