EastEnders’ Peter Beale Star Thomas Law Gushes Over Jacqueline Jossa: “She’s Special”

Reuniting On-Screen Sparks Nostalgia

Thomas Law, who plays Peter Beale on EastEnders, opened up about reuniting with his on-screen wife, Jacqueline Jossa, at the National Television Awards on September 10. The actor described working with Jac—who returned to the role of Lauren Branning in 2023—as “special” and praised the experience for reigniting the chemistry fans loved.

“Ah she’s special,” Thomas said. “It’s been special working with her again. It’s nice being back on the show. EastEnders is much faster-paced than anything I’ve ever worked on. I would say EastEnders is my favourite job—I’ve learned all my skills here, and it’s taken me to other jobs I’ve done in my life.”
