EastEnders: Zack’s Forbidden Kiss With Vicki Fowler Sends Walford Into Shock
EastEnders fans are in for scandal and heartbreak next week as Zack Hudson once again proves that old habits die hard. The Walford charmer, known for crossing lines of loyalty and love, finds himself in deep trouble after locking lips with someone he really shouldn’t — Vicki Fowler.

Comfort Turns to Chaos
Vicki (Alice Haig) has been struggling to rebuild her life following a brutal attack by her stepson Joel Marshall (Max Murray). Still haunted by her trauma, she’s triggered again next week after witnessing a man behave aggressively toward Chelsea Fox (Zaraah Abrahams) on a date.
Things spiral when Vicki confronts the man in the laundrette, pushing him in a panic. He falls and hits his head, leaving her shaken and terrified. That’s when Zack (James Farrar) arrives and rushes to help, offering the support she desperately needs.
Back home, the pair share an emotional conversation about fear, healing, and regret — and in a charged moment of vulnerability, they kiss.
“They feel like they’ve dealt with something big and they have a laugh about something and it develops into an intense moment of passion,” actress Alice Haig revealed. “They don’t expect to end up kissing.”

The Family Complication
What makes this twist so explosive isn’t just the kiss — it’s who they are to each other. Though not blood relatives, Zack and Vicki share a sister: Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean). That family tie adds a shocking layer of betrayal to their secret, especially given Sharon’s history with both of them.
Realising the gravity of what they’ve done, Zack and Vicki immediately agree to keep their moment of passion under wraps. But in Walford, secrets never stay buried for long.
Caught in the Act
Unfortunately for the guilty pair, Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) walks in and catches them mid-embrace. Horrified, she demands an explanation as they scramble to insist it was “a moment of madness.”
Kathy warns Zack to focus on what truly matters — his son Barney Mitchell (Lewis Bridgeman) — especially with Barney’s father Teddy Mitchell (Roland Manookian) now behind bars for Okie Okyere’s (Aayan Ibikunle Shoderu) murder.
Zack, guilt-ridden, apologises to Kathy and begs her to keep quiet. But with Sharon’s sharp instincts and the walls closing in, it’s only a matter of time before the truth explodes.
Love, Loyalty, and More Trouble Ahead
Meanwhile, Ross Marshall (Alex Walkinshaw) — Vicki’s ex and Joel’s father — refuses to walk away. In an attempt to win her back, he stages a romantic gesture meant to remind her of happier times. But his efforts fall flat.
As Vicki drifts further from Ross, her connection with Zack grows more complicated. Could one forbidden kiss turn into something deeper?
Alice Haig teased that Vicki’s feelings may be far from over:
“I can completely understand why Vicki might be torn between them. Zack and Ross have such different energies and characters, but they’re also both really great men.”

What’s Next for Zack and Vicki?
As Kathy wrestles with whether to tell Sharon and Ross makes his next move, the fallout from Zack’s latest mistake is set to send shockwaves across Walford. One secret kiss could cost him his relationship with Sharon, his son’s trust — and his place in the Mitchell family for good.
