Emmerdale: Danny Miller Flooded With Support After Sharing Rare Photo With His Look-Alike Dad
Emmerdale stalwart Danny Miller has thrilled fans by posting a snap with his doppelgänger dad, Vince.
Danny, 34, first made his mark on the ITV soap as Aaron Dingle in 2008. After a five-year run, he bid farewell to the show to explore new ventures, including a regular spot in the crime drama Scott and Bailey.
However, in 2014, he decided to return to Emmerdale, only to take another hiatus seven years later. During this break, he joined the cast of I’m A Celebrity and emerged victorious.
In 2023, it was announced that Danny would once again take on the role of Aaron. Off-screen, Danny Miller leads a quieter family life away from the dramatic twists and turns of the Yorkshire Dales.

In the world of showbiz, Danny isn’t the only Miller making waves. His father, Vince Miller, is a titan of the entertainment industry, reports the Mirror.
Affectionately known as the ‘king of compere’, Vince, a comedian and singer, has become a familiar face in Manchester United’s VIP scene – despite Danny’s staunch support for rival team Liverpool FC.
At the age of 91, Vince can reflect on an impressive 65-year career in showbiz, during which he rubbed shoulders with stars like Johnny Mathis and Shirley Bassey, and even delivered a moving eulogy at comedian Bernard Manning’s funeral.
Vince made the decision to retire from his career in broadcasting, and at 82, he told the Manchester Evening News: “I have no regrets about it. The time is now to retire while you’re on top. You don’t want people saying ‘not him again’.”
Danny, a father of three, took to Instagram to share a festive family photo with his dad Vince.
In one picture, Danny is seen with his arm around Vince, sitting in front of a Christmas tree. Another adorable snapshot shows Danny posing with two of his children and his dad, all beaming for the camera.
Danny affectionately captioned the post: “Christmas complete. Three generations of The Miller boys.”
Fans and friends of the soap star filled the comments section with their well-wishes, including Emmerdale’s Billy Fletcher actor Jay Kontzle who wrote: “Beautiful mate, merry Christmas.”
Another person commented: “Aww, precious time, lovely to see your dad smiling and happy”, while another added: “Heart melting.”
One fan noted: “This is so precious, you look so much like your dad Danny”, and another agreed: “Danny you have the same smile as your Dad. You can see the pride in his face, and you’re still his little boy.”
