Emmerdale newcomer Kammy Hadiq is about to stir up the village in more ways than one. Actor Shebz Miah has teased that fans should brace themselves for a brand-new romance storyline — and Kammy will be the one pulling the strings.

Speaking exclusively on the red carpet at the Inside Soap Awards 2025, Shebz revealed: “Kammy is going to be pulling the strings behind the scenes. There might be a new relationship blossoming. Kammy might be the one to help orchestrate it! We’ve got Kammy helping out, helping his friends.”

Already a loyal ally to Vinny Dingle, Kammy has been supporting him through his brutal ordeal with abuser Mike. Now it seems Kammy’s caring side will extend to helping other villagers discover feelings they didn’t know they had.

Vinny & Kammy’s Bond Deepens

Kammy’s growing friendship with Vinny has already made him a fan favorite. Earlier this year, Kammy encouraged Vinny to stand up in court against Mike, who viciously attacked and blackmailed him.

According to Shebz, their connection will only deepen. “Kammy’s just being a supportive friend and their friendship will blossom even further,” he teased.
