Bob Walks Into a Nightmare

A tense early-release episode of Emmerdale on ITVX reveals that Bob Hope is closer than ever to uncovering the chilling truth about his granddaughter, April Windsor. The episode picks up moments after last week’s cliffhanger, when April is arrested in connection with a drug dealing operation involving Ray Walters and Celia Daniels.

Desperate and out of options, April calls Bob and begs him to act as her appropriate adult for a police interview. She refuses to involve her dad Marlon or stepmum Rhona, terrified of how they would react.

The Police Interview Changes Everything

When Bob arrives, he expects fear, confusion, maybe even tears. Instead, he sees a version of April that he barely recognises. Officers begin asking direct questions about drugs, exploitation, and her connection to Ray and Celia.

April responds to every question with a cold, controlled “no comment.” She is clearly coached, and her silence stuns Bob. He begins to realise she might be much deeper in this criminal network than anyone understood. DS Clarke goes further, asking April outright if she is being groomed or exploited.
