Emmerdale Shock: Victoria Finally Doubts John as Aaron Wakes and Mack Faces Death

Victoria’s Blind Faith Begins to Crumble

After months of siding with her brother John, Victoria Sugden is finally starting to question his story. Tuesday’s Emmerdale episode on ITV1 sees her shaken after a tense visit to Robert in prison. For the first time, Victoria listens with an open mind—and what she hears leaves her rattled.

John has convinced nearly everyone in the village that he’s a hero, but Robert and Mackenzie Boyd have seen through him from the beginning. Behind the charm lies a chilling truth: John thrives on creating danger so he can swoop in as the saviour. His “rescues” are staged, reckless, and deadly.

John’s Deadly Past Comes to Light

John’s pattern is terrifying. Chas Dingle and Jacob Gallagher barely survived his twisted games. Nate Robinson wasn’t so lucky—he died as John tried to “save” him. Instead of admitting guilt, John dumped Nate’s body in a lake and framed a patient named Owen, another victim who lost his life.

When Robert caught John confessing to Aaron, who was drugged and unable to fight back, the confrontation turned violent. John dragged Aaron off a gorge, framing Robert for the attack. While John recovered in hospital, Robert was locked up. To make matters worse, Victoria rejected Robert’s pleas and sided with John, cutting her brother out of her life.

Robert Fights to Be Heard

Determined to clear his name, Robert begged Victoria to visit him in prison. Thanks to Matty Barton’s intervention, she finally agreed. Their meeting started frostily, with Victoria urging Robert to confess and stop blaming John.

But Robert refused to lie. He swore he would never hurt Aaron, no matter what John claimed. His words carried weight, and Victoria began to waver. Robert urged her to protect Aaron, warning that John might silence him before he could wake up.

That warning hit hard. Victoria left unsettled, torn between loyalty to John and the nagging fear that Robert might be right.

Aaron Wakes – But Is He Safe?

Back at the hospital, doctors prepared to wake Aaron from his coma. For Victoria, this should have been a moment of relief. Yet John’s reaction was anything but joyful. Instead of celebrating, he looked troubled—and Victoria noticed.

Has she finally spotted the cracks in his mask? Is she ready to see John for who he really is: a manipulator and a killer?

Mack’s Life Hangs by a Thread

Meanwhile, Mackenzie is still trapped in John’s bunker, fighting for survival. Viewers will see him take a desperate step, injecting himself with a syringe left by his captor. The drugs trigger terrifying hallucinations, including a haunting vision of Charity Dingle.

While Mack suffers in silence, Aaron regains consciousness. His recovery sparks Charity’s mission to track down her husband before it’s too late. But time is running out, and John won’t give up control easily.

The Beginning of the End for John?

This week marks a turning point in the storyline. With Aaron awake, Robert holding firm, and Victoria finally questioning her loyalty, John’s carefully constructed lies are close to collapsing.

Still, the danger is far from over. Mackenzie is slipping closer to death, and John is more desperate than ever to keep his secrets buried.

The question is: will Victoria act before it’s too late? Or will John destroy yet another life in his twisted quest to be seen as a hero?
