In Emmerdale’s latest ITVX-released episode, fans learned the horrifying truth: Celia is preparing to frame Moira Dingle for Anya’s death by using her land, her blanket, and a staged burial site as part of a cold-blooded cover-up.

Anya, who was trafficked into the village and forced into slave labour on Celia and Ray’s farm, succumbed to an untreated infection. Bear, broken by her loss, hoped Ray would arrange a proper funeral. But Ray had no intention of honoring the dead.

Celia did.

But not for the reasons Bear believed.

A Blanket, A Body, and a Setup

After learning Ray promised a burial, Celia concocted a calculated plan. She instructed Ray to bring Bear and Anya’s body to a specific location that evening—a quiet plot of farmland owned by Moira Dingle.

Ray and Bear, still unaware of Celia’s agenda, complied. Together, they dug a grave and gently placed Anya’s body into the earth. What they didn’t realise? The blanket wrapped around Anya was Moira’s—taken earlier that day during Celia’s seemingly innocent visit to Butlers.
