1. Cain Dingle self-destructs after his mysterious trip to France
Moira Dingle is relieved to see Cain home, but her joy quickly turns to fear when she realises he’s on a downward spiral.
After returning from France, where he was hunting for John Sugden, Cain drinks heavily and shuts everyone out. Moira pleads with him to think about Zak Dingle’s anniversary and his family, but Cain remains cold and distant.
Sam and Belle worry their brother might not show up for their father’s memorial. But the real question remains, has Cain found John, and if so, what did he do?
2. Robert Sugden’s guilt overwhelms him as Aaron Dingle suggests a fresh start
Aaron tells Robert he’s moving back to their flat and invites him to spend the first night together. Robert agrees, but he’s hiding a devastating secret: he’s still married to Kev Townsend.

3. Dawn Fletcher faces a mother’s nightmare as Clemmie Reed confesses
Carl King Junior admits to sending Clemmie’s indecent photo, and the police take action. Nicola insists he’s sorry, but Dawn is horrified to learn why Clemmie sent the image in the first place.
Guilt consumes Dawn as she clashes with Nicola, and tensions rise when Laurel steps in with a painful admission.
Meanwhile, Joe Tate’s attempt to help only causes more conflict. Determined to protect Clemmie, Dawn reflects on her own past with coercion and exploitation, vowing not to let history repeat itself.
4. April Windsor trapped in a chilling exploitation plot

He sends April to Liverpool under the threat of selling her debt, and when she refuses, he manipulates her with drugs and fear.
In a terrifying twist, April is taken to a hotel and given cocaine to deliver to a man named Tim, who offers her vodka and locks the door. As April faces a horrific moment of danger, the question is, who will save her before it’s too late?
Emmerdale continues to work with the Salvation Army to raise awareness of exploitation and grooming.
