Emmerdale Spoilers Dec 8–12: Kim Tate Faces Death, Jason Donovan Arrives, and Vinny Falls Hard
A surprise concert, a sinister scheme, and a life-threatening fall — Christmas chaos hits the village

1. Kim Tate Left for Dead in the Woods
In one of the week’s most dramatic storylines, Kim Tate suffers a terrifying accident after heading into the woods to investigate a suspicious hunting party on the Home Farm estate.

While Sam Dingle sets up a secret illegal shoot to raise money behind her back, Lydia unknowingly sends Kim into danger by trying to distract her with a surprise at The Woolpack. Alone in the forest, Kim falls and badly injures her leg. Immobilized and in pain, she begins to fear that no one will find her in time.

2. Jason Donovan Brings Christmas Cheer to The Woolpack
Pop legend and Neighbours alum Jason Donovan makes a special appearance in the village this week. In a heartwarming surprise orchestrated by Kim (before her accident), Jason performs a private gig at The Woolpack just for Lydia.

The event is meant to be Kim’s way of showing appreciation—but with her missing, the joy of the night is shadowed by growing concern.
Still, Jason’s appearance delights the villagers, offering a rare moment of magic amid the seasonal tension.
3. Kerry Wyatt Gets Caught in Pollard’s Scheme
Kerry Wyatt is stunned to find £15,000 mysteriously deposited into a new bank account opened in her name. While Jacob warns her not to touch it, suspecting fraud, the truth comes out fast.
Eric Pollard confesses that he set it up—intending to use Kerry as a “middleman” to move money to Jacob tax-free. Though initially outraged, Kerry softens when she learns it may be to help Jacob support Sarah, whose health is deteriorating.
4. The Christmas Fayre Hits a Snag
Planning for the village’s Christmas Fayre isn’t going well. Lydia, Nicola, and Claudette are devastated when ticket sales flop. Even Kim’s donation falls flat, dampening spirits further.
Bob tries to lift morale with talk of a festive performance, but no one shares his enthusiasm—leaving the whole event hanging in the balance.
Can they pull it together before the big day?
5. Vinny Dingle Tries to Connect With Lewis
Vinny is clearly smitten with Lewis Barton, and hopes to spend some quiet time getting to know him better. But when Kammy unexpectedly joins them during a casual afternoon, Vinny’s frustration is clear.
Whether Lewis returns Vinny’s feelings remains to be seen—but the signs of a slow-burn romance are all there.
