Emmerdale fans are growing increasingly anxious for April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan), as Monday’s episode (October 6) hinted that her nightmare is far from over.
The troubled teen, who narrowly avoided moving in with drug lord Ray Walters (Joe Absolom), found herself caught in an even more dangerous web after her grandfather Bob Hope (Tony Audenshaw) insisted she move into the B&B with him instead.
While Bob believes he’s offering his granddaughter safety and stability, viewers know that danger is already following close behind — in the form of manipulative farmer Celia Daniels (Jaye Griffiths), the true mastermind behind the Dales’ growing drug operation.
April’s Guilt Pushes Her Further Into Trouble
April’s downward spiral began after her younger brother Leo Goskirk (Harvey Rogerson) accidentally consumed the pills she’d been hiding and was rushed to hospital. Wracked with guilt and ashamed of her secret dealings with Ray, April decided she could no longer live under her father Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) and stepmother Rhona Goskirk’s (Zoe Henry) roof.
Telling her family she planned to move in with “a friend,” she was moments away from stepping into Ray’s clutches when Bob spotted her at the bus stop and refused to let her go. He insisted she come live with him instead — a decision that now has fans deeply worried.
