Emmerdale’s Amy Walsh Declares Love for Co-Star in Sweet ‘Bump Buddies’ Update
Emmerdale star Amy Walsh melted fans’ hearts after sharing a special pregnancy update alongside her co-star Isabel Hodgins at the Cure Usher Ball in Manchester.
Amy, who plays Tracy Robinson, attended the glamorous fundraiser with husband Toby Alexander-Smith (ex-EastEnders star Gray Atkins) as they prepare to welcome their second child. The couple are already parents to daughter Bonnie, born in 2021.
At the event, organised by co-star Laura Norton and her husband Mark Jordan to raise awareness of Usher syndrome, Amy posted a sweet photo with Isabel Hodgins — who recently revealed she’s expecting her first baby with husband Adam Whitehead.
Sharing the picture, Amy captioned it: “Bump buddies ❤️❤️” — declaring her love for her fellow mum-to-be.
Isabel, best known for playing Victoria Sugden on the soap, announced her pregnancy just months after her “perfect wedding,” posting: “First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes… Baby Whitehead.”
The event was a family affair for the Emmerdale cast, with stars flocking to support Laura and Mark, whose two children are affected by Usher syndrome — a condition that impacts both hearing and vision. Laura proudly wrote after the event: “An amazing night,” while praising her friends and co-stars for rallying behind the cause.
Emmerdale Babies Boom
The soap has seen a wave of off-screen baby joy, with Amy, Isabel, and Laura all embracing parenthood milestones while continuing to play central roles in some of the show’s most dramatic storylines.
With Amy’s character Tracy still reeling from the limo crash tragedy and Nate Robinson’s shocking murder at the hands of John Sugden, viewers can expect plenty more twists in the Dales — while off-screen, it’s all about love, friendship, and new arrivals.
