Emmerdale star Eden Taylor-Draper has shared several photos from her recent holiday with her boyfriend

Emmerdale star Eden Taylor-Draper has delighted her co-stars with several romantic holiday snaps. The 28-year-old actress is best known for her role as Belle Dingle in the ITV soap, a part she took over from Emily Mather in 2005.

Over the years, Belle has been at the heart of several unforgettable storylines, including falling down a mineshaft, killing her best friend Gemma Andrews (Tendai Rinomhota), having an affair with doctor Jermaine Bailey (Micah Balfour), faking a pregnancy, and being diagnosed with schizophrenia.

The much-loved character also had a relationship with serial killer Lachlan White (Thomas Atkinson), and was at the centre of a high-profile storyline in 2024, which saw her being coercively controlled and abused by her wicked husband Tom King (James Chase).

Away from the Dales, Eden has been dating her boyfriend Ed Lewis since 2016. It’s thought that the couple first crossed paths at Harrogate Grammar School in North Yorkshire, reports the Mirror.

The young couple share a mutual passion for travel, often posting pictures from various global locations on Instagram, including a festive trip to Vienna’s Christmas markets in Austria.

Recently, Eden and Ed embarked on a journey to Australia and Vietnam, with the soap star sharing several snaps from their adventure on Instagram on Tuesday (January 13).

Posting a carousel of images adorned with themed emojis – including a koala, the beach and the flags of Australia and Vietnam – Eden shared a snapshot of herself and her partner atop a mountain, with breathtaking countryside scenery stretching out behind them. Additional pictures captured the duo enjoying a jet ski ride, relaxing at the beach, and taking in views of the sunset and jungle landscapes.

Several of Eden’s Emmerdale colleagues rushed to show their support in the comments, with Isabel Hodgins, who portrays Victoria Sugden, writing: “Just the absolute best,” accompanied by a heart emoji. Laura Norton, known for her role as Kerry Pollard on the ITV drama, commented: “Gorgeous babe.” One follower gushed: “Love these and love you.”

Another friend echoed the sentiment, saying: “Fab photos Eden – looks like you and Ed have had a fab time!” with another similarly sharing: “The best! What a trip.”

Last month, Eden’s character Belle organised a secret wedding for Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill) and Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant), which they disguised as a gender reveal party.

However, their plans were derailed when the young couple were beat to the altar by Jacob’s grandad Eric Pollard (Chris Chittell) and Kerry. Soap fans will know that the only reason Pollard has made Kerry his bride is to siphon cash for Jacob’s future to her, though the rest of the village remain oblivious to this detail.

Despite the various challenges, Sarah and Jacob eventually made it down the aisle a few days later in a sweet ceremony at the Woolpack.

It’s been a busy few months for wedding planner Belle as she also organised the wedding of Coronation Street’s Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) and Ronnie Bailey (Vinta Morgan), which occurred shortly before the Corriedale crash last week.
