Laurel’s flirtatious encounter with Ray while working at The Hide hasn’t gone unnoticed by fans. Yet, according to Charlotte Bellamy, viewers should prepare for major drama as the situation spirals.
“When you see what’s going to happen, you’ll go, ‘Oh my God!’” the actress told Inside Soap. “The scripts we’re reading at the moment — I have never read scripts like them. I just cannot put them down. It just goes mad and crazy!”
Her words have sent fans into overdrive, with many speculating that Laurel’s budding friendship — or romance — with Ray could lead to danger.

This week, Laurel also found herself clashing with best friend Nicola King after revealing she contacted Clemmie Reed’s school about an indecent image circulating among students. “Laurel and Nicola are like sisters,” she explained. “They’re so different, but so loyal to each other. We’ve had loads of stuff recently, and we continue to, so it’s great fun with Nic [Wheeler, who plays Nicola]!”

Then, Ashley’s dementia was such a remarkable story that had a massive impact. The one-off episode is now used by the Alzheimer’s Society to help families understand how dementia affects people. What an achievement.”
