Emmerdale actor Michael Parr has shared an emotional message to his partner Isabelle Du Plessis following the arrival of their first child — a baby girl named Suzie Rose Parr.
The actor, best known for playing Ross Barton, announced the happy news last weekend with a touching Instagram post showing him cradling their newborn, wrapped in a soft bear blanket embroidered with “Baby Parr.”
“What You Endured Was Astounding”
In a moving tribute to Isabelle, Michael praised her strength during what he described as a “cruel” pregnancy marked by Hyperemesis, a severe condition that causes extreme sickness.
“To my darling Isabelle,” he wrote, “What you have endured over the last nine months to bring us our beautiful daughter is astounding. What was meant to be a beautiful journey was tainted by Hyperemesis… and yet you marched on and gave me the best present a man could wish for — a beautiful, healthy little girl.”
He continued, “You’ve sacrificed so much. You’ve moved country, changed city, ran a business, started a degree, been an amazing dog mum, and now you’re the most wonderful Mother. I’m so proud of you. We are now a family, and I swear to dedicate my life to making yours and Suzie’s better.”
Isabelle replied warmly in the comments: “Suzie and I love you so much xx.”
