Away from the chaos on screen, Zoe Henry couldn’t be prouder of her young co-star Amelia Flanagan, who plays April.

“Amelia is like a 47-year-old woman!” Zoe laughed. “She’s such an old head on young shoulders. She’s brilliant, so focused. She knows all her lines and yours! I’m so thrilled Emmerdale has given her this opportunity, because she’s really shining. She’s amazing and she always has been.”

Two Things Zoe Wants for Rhona

While Rhona’s family drama takes centre stage, Zoe admits there are two major changes she’d love for her character going forward:

1. More Vet Scenes – “We constantly talk about the stuff we used to film at the vets. We had such a laugh and I think it was fun for the viewers, too. I’d love some more of that.”

2. More Time with Mary – “I’d also love more with Rhona’s mum, Mary. Louise Jameson, who plays her, is an absolute dream. I think there’s real interest in her finding love, too.”
