Katherine Kelly Lang Named Glamour’s Woman of the Year as She Embarks on Bold New Chapter

The Bold and the Beautiful star Katherine Kelly Lang has been honored with one of fashion’s most coveted titles — Glamour Woman of the Year — marking a defining moment in what she calls her “year of reinvention.”

A Transformative Year for a Soap Icon

At 64, Lang is proving that reinvention has no age limit. Known worldwide as Brooke Logan, a role she’s played since The Bold and the Beautiful’s 1987 debut, the actress has spent the past year breaking new ground in her career.

She recently launched a short fashion film and attended her first Cannes Film Festival, expanding her creative reach beyond daytime television. Sharing the news on Instagram, Lang expressed how this shift has reignited her sense of purpose and joy.

“This year has been one of transformation — of firsts and fearless leaps,” she wrote. “My first Cannes Film Festival. My first international fashion covers. My first time truly stepping into a world I’ve always loved — fashion — as a woman writing her own next act.”

Honored Alongside Demi Moore

Lang described her recognition from Glamour as deeply humbling, especially since she was honored alongside Hollywood icon Demi Moore.

“To be named Glamour’s Woman of the Year — among extraordinary women like @demimoore, whom I’ve admired for her artistry and strength — is truly beyond words,” she wrote. “To be recognized by one of the most iconic fashion magazines in the world is an honor that humbles me deeply.”

The accompanying Glamour photoshoot, which Lang called “jaw-dropping,” captures her elegance and confidence in a series of stunning looks — a visual representation of her self-described liberation.

“Here’s to Reinvention”

Lang’s caption continued with an empowering message for women everywhere:

“When I began this journey earlier this year, I promised myself to go where my heart had always wanted to go — into new territories, new stories, and new styles that reflect who I am now. It’s been bold, it’s been emotional, and above all… it’s been freeing.”

She concluded her post with a heartfelt toast:

“Here’s to reinvention. To power reclaimed. To women who dare to rewrite their story — at any stage of life.”B&B's Katherine Kelly Lang Talks On 35 Years As Brooke: The Men, The Booze, The Rivalries - Michael Fairman TV

Still the Heart of The Bold and the Beautiful

Despite her growing presence in fashion, Lang reassured fans she’s not leaving The Bold and the Beautiful. She remains one of the show’s central figures, continuing Brooke Logan’s decades-long journey of love, rivalry, and resilience.

Lang’s recognition as Glamour Woman of the Year cements her as more than a soap legend — she’s a symbol of timeless reinvention and unapologetic self-discovery.
