Emmerdale favourite Lisa Riley has officially swapped the Dales for the jungle. The beloved actress, best known for playing Mandy Dingle, has jetted off to Australia to take part in I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, with ITV confirming her as part of the 2025 line-up earlier this week.

A Farewell from the Dales

Before heading down under, Lisa filmed a special farewell clip on the Emmerdale set — now confirmed to be her last appearance before the show’s temporary break for her jungle adventure.

In the playful video shared on Instagram, Lisa is seen closing the door of Mandy’s business and teasing fans with a grin:

“Well, that’s the business closed for weeks. The rumours seem to be true. See you in Australia.”

She then picks up a hat, drapes an Australian flag over her shoulders, and walks off, waving to the camera — a fitting goodbye from one of the Dales’ most iconic faces.

Co-Star Bradley Riches Takes Over Her Socials

Lisa’s Emmerdale co-star Bradley Riches (who plays Lewis Barton) couldn’t resist jumping into the fun, revealing that he’ll be managing Lisa’s social media accounts while she’s in the jungle.

Posting to Instagram, Bradley wrote:

“It’s OFFICIAL – our girl Lisa Riley is in the jungle!! Who’s as excited as I am?! While Lisa’s off living her best jungle life, I’ll be running her socials — dangerous, I know.”

He also joked about his plans to stir things up:

“She told me not to push the votes for trials… but OF COURSE I WILL! We need drama and we certainly need the laughs!”

Lisa’s Final Day on Set

In a follow-up post, Bradley shared a photo of Lisa on her last day filming in the village. Standing outside Mandy and Paddy Kirk’s (Dominic Brunt) home, the actress posed proudly next to an Australian flag.

Alongside the image, Bradley wrote:

“This was Lisa’s last day on set before she jetted off to Australia! She’s traded sheep sh*t for kangaroo balls (talk about an upgrade!). Everyone at Emmerdale couldn’t be prouder — we can’t wait for everyone to fall in love with the Lisa we know and adore.”

Former Emmerdale star Sally Dexter (Faith Dingle) showed her support in the comments, cheering, “Come on girl. Team Dingle.”
