Days of Our Lives reveals Peter Blake (Dan Gauthier) just met his maker, there are still questions about who he was working with to take out all of those DiMeras. We’re wondering if Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) was his secret partner on the other end of those surveillance cameras.

Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) are gathering intel on the Peter kidnappings. All signs point to him having an accomplice all the way over in Alamainia.

Peter Blake’s Chaos and the DiMera Family Mausoleum Kidnappings on Days of Our Lives

It has been a roller coaster ride since Peter Blake strolled into Salem, faked his own kidnapping, and got into a tussle with his siblings that put him on the road to his own death. Not exactly what he had in mind because he came to town to kill Kristen DiMera(Stacy Haiduk), EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn), Theo, and Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis).

By now, everybody knows Peter was the one who had his siblings and his nephew nabbed and tossed into the DiMera family mausoleum. Then his biological sister, Kristen, saved everybody by double-crossing Peter and bashing him in the head with an urn.

Not only did Kristen cause a traumatic brain injury with that attack, but Peter also impaled himself on one of those mystery bones in the mausoleum. Yet, after Kristen signed papers to pull the plug on Peter, he got a miracle and woke up.

Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s Toxic Visit and the Question of Peter Blake’s Survival on DOOL

Right after he raged at Kristen and told her he would see her in hell, we saw Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) sneak into Peter’s room and dose his IV with something toxic. Within moments of Rolf’s visit, Peter was supposedly meeting his maker; he flatlined and was pronounced dead.

Kristen is distraught. However, I think we all know by now that when Dr. Rolf is involved and somebody dies, that may not be the end of them. We may not have seen the last of homicidal Peter.

Right now, top cop Jada and FBI agent Rafe are tracing the feed from the crypt camera, and they have found that it went all the way back to Alamainia. The question is, who is in Alamainia that wanted to watch what went down in the crypt and had a vested interest in it? Who was possibly conspiring with Peter?

Tracing the Evidence on Days: Is Vivian Alamain the Mastermind in Alamainia?

Who was watching that wanted to see those particular DiMeras dead and why? When it comes to Alamainia, obviously Vivian lives there. So does Megan Hathaway (Miranda Wilson). Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) was there for a while and obviously Dimitri von Leuschner DiMera (Peter Porte) was.

But that was a few years back before he came to Salem, went to prison, and then got himself kidnapped. It is highly possible that Peter and Vivian cooked up thesekidnappings and were scheming together. If you look back at the past for a minute as a little refresher, Peter and Vivian both have ties to Dr. Rolf.

Years ago, in the late ’90s, Peter had contracted a deadly illness called jungle madness. Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo) sent his adoptive son Peter over to his island compound to get treated by Dr. Rolf, who had a cure for it. There was a violent confrontation, partly due to the madness, and Peter attacked Rolf in a fit of rage.

Peter stole the plane and fled the island without getting the full cure. Obviously, there is still some madness in his head. There was definitely bad blood between Rolf and Peter. Meanwhile, Vivian has her own history with Rolf that is a lot more positive. When Vivian died more than once, Rolf famously resurrected her. He used his miracle serum on her, and since then, Vivian has viewed Dr. Rolf as a useful ally for her schemes.

Fast forward to more recent events. Peter was fueled by decades of sibling rivalry when he decided to kill his siblings. There may be more to it because somebody else may have been pushing his buttons. To me, it felt like he might have been inspired by Vivian’s infamous habit of burying her enemies alive.

The DiMera Inheritance and the Mystery of Stefan DiMera’s Death

We know that Peter wasn’t working alone. There were armed guards at the crypt door. Somebody was financing that, unless Peter is sitting on millions of dollars. He had that sarin gas he got from somewhere, and then somebody was keeping tabs on all of his captives via surveillance cameras feeding all the way to Alamainia.

Maybe Madam’s manservant Ivan Marais (Ivan G’Vera) was helping out. We know he’s good at kidnapping people. Vivian is probably as hungry for revenge against the DiMeras as Peter is. It may be about how they treated her sons, Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) and Jake DiMera (Jake Lambert). Vivian may have reached out to Peter and offered him resources—a slice of Alamainian wealth and a way to claim his DiMera inheritance by clearing obstacles out of the way.

I personally do not believe that Stefan is dead. A photo of a gravestone and a death certificate are easy to fake and manipulate. It makes sense that Rafe and Jada are wondering if Stefan is actually dead. His last known whereabouts were in Alamainia. Plus, Rafe’s sister Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) thought she would sense if there was something wrong with Stefan when she found out he had allegedly passed away due to heart complications.

The Battle for the DiMera Empire: Vivian Alamain vs. EJ DiMera on Days of Our Lives

Peter and Vivian key to success could be Dr. Rolf’s involvement. She may have talked Rolf into this crazy scheme because, while he is loyal to the DiMeras, he has a very fluid sense of morals. Rolf seems pretty excited to be working with EJ, resurrecting the tube person and working in that lab, but that doesn’t mean he’s not working a side deal.

I suspect that Rolf either really killed Peter or faked his death. Since Rolf and Peter have an old grudge, Rolf might be planning to use Peter as a human guinea pig in those secret lab experiments. He may have killed him to test his latest resurrection thing that involves the Versix.

Vivian Shows Up Soon on Days of our Lives?

I am also waiting for Vivian to arrive in Salem to taunt Gabi about Stefan’s death. The main person Peter was focused on hating was EJ, and Vivian also hates EJ. She sees him as an obstacle to her son Stefan’s inheritance.

In the end, we may find out Vivian and Peter are connected in a big scheme to take over the DiMera Empire and push EJ out, even if it means pushing him into a grave. We’ll have to wait and see if Rolf really killed Peter, faked his death, or is going to resurrect him to test the serum on Days of our Lives.

Megan is also in Alamainia, and I could see her deciding to kill off the other DiMeras to clear the way for Dimitri. But since her son was missing until very recently, I feel like Megan is a less likely secret partner for Peter.
