‘Sister Wives’ Star Hints at Show Exit 3 Years After Divorce
Sister Wives star Janelle Brown is seemingly ready to walk away from the TLC series that made her famous.

The mother of six took to social media on Sunday, December 21, to tease a possible show exit.
“I used to think I’d ‘broken’ at certain points in my life,” Janelle, 56, captioned an Instagram Reel. “Leaving the show… leaving a marriage… starting over at an age where everyone expects you to have it all figured out. I kept looking at the pieces and thinking something must be wrong with me.”
She continued, “But now, standing where I am, I can see it differently. None of those moments were breaking points. They were shedding points. Old expectations. Old versions of myself. Old identities that were never really mine.”
Janelle walked away from her marriage to polygamous patriarch Kody Brown in December 2022, after nearly 30 years.
The former couple shared six children: sons Logan, Garrison, Gabriel and Hunter, and daughters Savanah and Madison. In March 2024, after years of turmoil with his father, Garrison took his own life.
“Shedding feels painful while you’re in it, but on the other side you realize you didn’t lose yourself… you uncovered her,” Janelle continued in her Sunday post. “And if you’re in a season like that too… if everything feels like it’s falling apart… just hold on.”
Following her split from Kody, Janelle relocated from Flagstaff, Arizona, to Chocowinity, North Carolina, where she and daughter Maddie Brush purchased a 156-acre flower farm called Taeda Farms. She later created Second Chapter Coaching, where she focuses on helping middle-aged women start over.
