It’s a good time to be a Taylor Sheridan fan in 2026, because there are several new Yellowstone spinoff shows expected to air this year. From a Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes) drama to a Montana in modern day show without any Duttons, this list is one wild Western ride. To learn what Yellowstone spinoffs are coming in 2026, keep scrolling!
‘Marshals’
Marshals (formerly known as Y:Marshals) is the first confirmed Yellowstone spinoff of 2026. It will follow Kayce Dutton after he joins the U.S. Marshals, and is expected to be a perfect blend of crime fighting and wild Western fun.
“It will be weird,” Grimes told People magazine of the show back in June of 2025. “There’s going to be some familiar faces, but there’s going to be a lot of new faces too, so we’ll see how that all feels.”
“We definitely wanted to make sure to give it a real story and make it interesting and make it believable,” he continued. “If it was just like, ‘Well, he’s happy’ — we’re just going to watch him be happy? That’s not very cool. But I’ll say this, the idea that was pitched to me is very, very good and very interesting and it really roped me in and I think it will rope the audience in as well.”
When ‘Marshals’ will air
Marshals debuts on CBS on Sunday, March 1. It will also be available for streaming on Paramount+.
‘Dutton Ranch’

Along with Kayce, Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) is also expected to have a spinoff this year. It will reportedly follow her and husband Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser) as they try to navigate life away from the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch. The show doesn’t have an official plot or confirmed title (though many outlets report that it’s to be called Dutton Ranch) and while it’s set to debut in 2026, there is no official word on when exactly.
“Taylor can figure out how to absolutely continue if he wants to,” Hauser told The Hollywood Reporter in November 2024. “But that’s just Taylor being a brilliant writer. I’m not telling you that it is continuing, it’s just that he’s smart enough as a writer to do that if that’s something that he is passionate about.”
Reilly elaborated on that, saying in the same interview, “It’s up to him [Sheridan]. We trust him. He’s a master storyteller, and we help him tell these characters’ stories. It’s been such a ride and so electrifying to play and so invigorating. I trust him. I trust him with wherever he takes her [Beth]; whether we’re leaving her where we’ve left her or we’re going to find her somewhere else, I trust him.”
“I really could go either way right now. But the dealbreaker really for me is the writing—the writing has to be from him,” she continued.
‘The Madison’

The Madison—originally titled 2024—will follow a New York City family who decides to move to the Madison River Valley in Montana. Set after the finale of Yellowstone, it won’t feature any Duttons. Instead, there will be a brand new cast, with Michelle Pfeiffer at the center of it as Stacy Clyburn.
“Michelle Pfeiffer is a remarkable talent who imbues every role with emotional depth, authenticity and grace,” Chris McCarthy, the Paramount Global co-CEO and the president and CEO of Showtime and MTV Entertainment Studios, said in a statement. “She is the perfect anchor to the newest chapter of the Yellowstone universe, The Madison, from the brilliant mind of Taylor Sheridan.”
‘The Madison’ release date
The Madison will air on Paramout+ on March 14.
